A very exciting horse in my opinion. Just hoping he doesn't get injured again.

Just found out from a contact he will hopefully have his first run at Kelso early December, before going for the Lexus - just in case anyone was remotely interested! [:)]

Glad somebody is interested Shakespeare!

I genuinely believe that if run over the right distance on softish ground he can definitely mix it with the very best as shown in last years Lexus.

Only had 13 runs in his career so could be open to some improvement. The same trainer trains Monets Garden who keeps winning top quality races year after year, so heres hoping Money Trix can improve!

I personally would run him in the Gold Cup this year if the ground is soft - what do you think?

I have put on another thread that I personally do not think he is dependant on soft ground, he just gets through it better than most.  He has never actually raced on anything faster than good to soft (and he coped with good to soft extremely well) so why not on good.  The tactic should be to force the pace a little more on good to use his stamina......I think he is in the mould of Denman when he won the Gold Cup (remains to be seen if he is as good).  My point is if he did go for Gold and tried to gallop them into the ground then a lot of people could be surprised.  One thing though, he tends to throw in the odd bad jump (probably down to not racing too often).

Yep good point he is definitely a galloper. I just hope Richards is less protective of him thsi season and let him take on the big boys more often, hopefully leading to a run in the Gold Cup.
