Well its all a bit lonely on here. Gd/sft at the moment with more rain on the way. 1pt e/w The Betchworth Kid for me. Loves the track, laid out, back on a mark 2 lbs lower than 2yrs ago when second, should have his ground, Dale Swift takes off 5lb, trainer in form, just running into form and is a massive 20's. Easy this game!
backed betchworth last time at ascot and cant see this being 20-1 come saturday, also like montaff who was just behind in the same race and again is 20-1 with sadcrooks. more rain the better for him.

^ Its being heavily backed. 6/1 generally (down to 9/2 with SJ). 10/1 was freely available yesterday.
When the money comes for a Gosden horse in a race like this, it's usually a good idea to follow it. Glad I'm already on at 10-1.

Completely dry night, only a millimetre of rain in my (bucket) weather centre since yesterday morning.
Saved on Simenon at Ladbrokes 16-1. Ran in the Bahrain Trophy, Voltigeur, handicap mark steadily falling, then travelled like the best horse in a 2 mile handicap at Newmarket behind Theola, patently failing to stay, having been the last horse off the bridle. Looks to have been saved for this and one of very few I'd give much chance to.

no dan but the maps i was reading suggested they'd be getting rain this afternoon and over friday night/sat morning .. has been p1ssing it down everywhere esle in the area,imo

Had a walk around on thursday and thought gd/sft, can't see there being any real change since then.
gs/s in places .. dry day forecast so prop gs by 3.10. the weather charts I have been reading all week have been totally inaccurate.
The soft bit is between the leger start and the 10f pole. Weather forecast have been useless as you say, less than 1/3rd inch of rain in my bucket all week.
Another mad selection from me but I do think Thin Red Line at
40/1 E/W with Stan James is a value bet. 6lb better off for a
2.25L beating by Senate over C&D gives hime every chance imo. Trainer has had 4 winners from 8 runners in the last week and no runner
outside the first four. Also noticed Godsen horses look that they
are over the top.
