Well its all a bit lonely on here. Gd/sft at the moment with more rain on the way. 1pt e/w The Betchworth Kid for me. Loves the track, laid out, back on a mark 2 lbs lower than 2yrs ago when second, should have his ground, Dale Swift takes off 5lb, trainer in form, just running into form and is a massive 20's. Easy this game!

backed betchworth last time at ascot and cant see this being 20-1 come saturday, also like montaff who was just behind in the same race and again is 20-1 with sadcrooks. more rain the better for him. good luck with your bets..

Those three actually pass the primary stage but these don't
Simeon Classic Vintage
the primary stage is based upon Age, Weights, Number of runs (according to age) Form of latest runs.
There's a long way to go yet though We will know more tomorrow when the decs are declared. Then there is a lot of delving into the Matrix of a number of determined factors Surprised there are selections put up at already!!

yep would be a worry (going for WF) but pretty sure his half brother Michita went on it,but not ideal backing something which hasn't raced on the going

I want to back The Betchworth Kid in this but only if the ground is genuinely soft.
After the going description debacle at the last Donnie meeting I won't be parting with a shilling here until I see the first few races on Saturday.

Saved on Simenon at Ladbrokes 16-1. Ran in the Bahrain Trophy, Voltigeur, handicap mark steadily falling, then travelled like the best horse in a 2 mile handicap at Newmarket behind Theola, patently failing to stay, having been the last horse off the bridle. Looks to have been saved for this and one of very few I'd give much chance to.

The soft bit is between the leger start and the 10f pole. Weather forecast have been useless as you say, less than 1/3rd inch of rain in my bucket all week.

Another mad selection from me but I do think Thin Red Line at 40/1 E/W with Stan James is a value bet. 6lb better off for a 2.25L beating by Senate over C&D gives hime every chance imo. Trainer has had 4 winners from 8 runners in the last week and no runner outside the first four. Also noticed Godsen horses look that they are over the top.
2PT E/W @ 40/1 SJ 1,2,3,4,5.
