There's a few interesting ones. I don't say top class by any means. Noble Alan could win a decent race. Money Trix, if he gets heavy ground. But note the McManus horse Sundown Trail, ran down the field last year, could be a plot sometime. Magnier also has a horse there. And that horse which finished 3rd last weekend, Flinty Hill, looks nailed on to win soon. I'm also interested to see how That'll Do Nicely goes back over hurdles. It improved nicely on the flat this summer and with decent ground it must be well rated. R Carver is right he's lost a few the last couple of years, he can be a frustrating bloke and doesn't run them enough for me. When I last visited the yard they had a lot of younger store horses waiting to come into training, I hope there's a couple of decent ones in there.

Thanks for that note redal, very interesting. Lets hope a few develop into top class horses, or horses to win nice races, he's had a few shocking yrs, but hopefully he can turn the corner. I take less and less note of his results as he's had such lean times they hardly have any bearing on results in the south (where i tend to do my punting and race-course going) but hopefully thats about to change. i'll start paying them a bit more attention. Cheers.

You're welcome. As a NE lad I was brought up on the great WA and GWR. I had shares in horses at Greystoke but it is hard to keep making excuses and he does frustrate me. I really hope he does turn the corner, he has done me a few favours on the flat this summer. Good luck down south

Cheers Redal. I like trainers who do not over-do horses, and he definately falls into that category, but yes, they have to run at some point when they are costing a grand a month to keep! WA and Gordon - top handlers, top men. Wasn't WA's favourite track Hexham? Its certainly the most picturesque i've visited. GL too mate. RC.
