I'm opposing Frankel with Klammer.

Frankel has to be a lay at the price.

What was Makfi's excuse for his performance in the St James Palace Stakes? Is there a suspicion that he is better on a straight course than he is going round a corner? I am ready to oppose him, I think Poet's Voice has a great chance and although he didn't beat a great deal in the celebration mile he did it very well on ground which didn't suit. At 9.0 I think he is a fantastic bet.

Makfi had a sniffle last time at Ascot.

Frankel should be 1/10 tomorrow, there is nothing to beat in the race as he has scared everything off and the second favourite was beaten in a nursery round an irish gaffe track. Frankel has already beaten better horses to these and as MP said 1.35 is simply buying money!  Henry doesn't hype his horses lads, this is a machine against listed horses at best. I read this morning that R Hills said to connections of diamond geez that not to worry how far he was beaten at donny Frankel is the best horse HRA has ever trained! He's got someway to go to prove that but Frankel is a beast and tomorrow will simply be a canter, if 1.35 shots aren't for you simply enjoying watching a Group1 horse and don't chuck money away laying it.

Think his below par run at Ascot has been well documented as a throat infection.

Unfortunately many around him/who follow him do, can't believe anyone would pile in at that price based on a win which was definitely visually better than the form. Not saying he's useless but think the safe option is to either leave the race alone or look for something else, Happy Today is probably the obvious place to look for me anyway, although probably better bets elsewhere, good luck

No sense it backing Frankel in a double with Makfi who could get beat. Risk is too high as there has to be a chance Rip Van Winkle could take the QEII

I would be more inclined to go with White Moonshine who looks to have much easier task.

You can bet when Frankel hacks up against the no hopers he's in against it will give those damn bookies ofice to knock 4 points off him for the Guineas.

I wonder if Makfi had another cold this time? I just don't think he seems to handle off a bend and doesn't pick up. Poet's Voice looks good in small fields over a mile and might be even better on quicker ground.

aye, makfi more of a barings bank. Cry

shud have just stuck with the bank of frankel, as rondetto indicated [:p]
