Madame Bovary, if there are no VERY LATE withdrawals, then the FACT is that 27 runners will go to post, as stipulated in the conditions of the race and a safety limit. I expect more withdrawals than DAFEEF especially if there more rain.

I Really don't appreciate the tone of your reply.
Firstly; how was I to know that you didn't think there might be 40 runners? It may have been wrong of me to assume you didn't know, but my reply only stated there would be 27 as I beleived you thought otherwise.
Secondly; Again, trying to be helpful, I pointed out that Dafeef ran yesterday and so may be an unlikely runner. I have no idea what will or won't run, and apologise for my guesswork.
I really don't know why I bother with this forum.
Good luck, bazzar. Please in future try not to judge everyone else by your own standards.

Bovary, I have probably been backing horses long before you were born, and amongst my racing friends I do not know of any who read the conditions for races, consequently I knew that conditions stipulated 27 runners as a safety factor, I asked for RUMOURS just in case anyone has connections and could help with POSSIBLE non runners. Obviously you assumed thatI am green and gave a FACTUAL response first and then a guess, which by the way I would agree, although Godolphin become harder to assess as time moves on. It has never made sense to me for any outfit to use a scatter gun approach to entries when it must be obvious that the horse/s will not even be considered for some races, it smacks of bad management.

Yet more condescension. You couldn't just say: 'look mate, you got the wrong end of the stick, but cheers for trying to help'. You have to be patronizing, and mention the fact that apparently:I have probably been backing horses long before you were born
I hope this makes you feel very smug and superior. Well done. As I said above - Please in future try not to judge everyone else by your own standards.
