I hope it does run. Oaks winners have an excellent record in the leger and I think she would have a cracking chance.

Walked the course with my trusty mutt yesterday and it's good quickish ground however noticeable (and I'm no expert by the way) that grass hasn't grown (or doesn't appear to have shooted)where clods have come out previously. Usually lush like a carpet. This bobbo will not get the trip. When you go up Rose Hill it feels like you've climbed a mountain when you finally get to the top. Takes some getting does 1 m 6 f. Snap up the 7/4 with the magic sign because if Snow is out and Aidan's all don't show will go off 10/11 or shorter. Rewilding was only half cooked at York.

There is an article on the RP website this morning which says Ed Dunlop has looked at the weather for the leger meeting and there is no rain forecast. I know a lot of people on here don't rate Nick Mordin's view on a lot of things but I do follow what he says and on his website his latest post about both Snow Fairy and Rewilding seem pretty spot on to me.

I agree Midrich - ive backed it and think she has a great chance. Looks set to run now which is good news.

i hope it does run as the 3 year olds receiving weight for age start to win everything at this time off year , i personaly think the horse was given a poor ride last time out ,and let the winner get first run, it looks better with a wee bit cut in the ground ,
but you have seen it time and time again in group races their is not alot between the pop horses so you cant let them poach a lead as they are very hard to peg back .if she had went for home 1st their would have been nothing in it .

Bigmart think you better check your facts as wont be receiving wfa as 3-y-os only in English Leger.Will however get fillies allowance against colts,also how you can state would have beaten Midday lto, btn 3 lengths getting 10 lbs  i think is well wide of mark,maybe you should watch race again. Good luck if you have backed her?

yep its a classic my mystake but they do receive wight in the king george is that not a classic , ?

The English Classics are for 3 year olds only.

Back to the point, Snow Fairy is an odd filly. She is by a miler pout of a faorly fast mare. On breeding she has no chance of staying more than 10 furlongs. However she already stays 12 furlongs in soft going very well indeed, and her run at York was very creditable in that she almost got midday of the bit, a task few others may ever do. Snow Fairy also ran on very strongly at the end of that race and looks like she'll stay.

Her sire is Intikhab, the horse than won the Queen Anne Stakes at Royal Ascot like a very good horse indeed. he is an odd stallion, in that it seems to me his stock can either stay very well, even 2 miles seems little problem, even when the dam has little stamina. On the other hand he also sire sprinters that are not bred for pace.

Snow Fairy is rated as a 122 rated filly by Timeform and she gets 3 lbs. If she improves just a bit for the trip she will go very close.
