Top weight is hardly ideal but I reckon Bergo will be trained for this rather than going pot-chasing for a fraction of the prize money over fences (for now at least). Made a very good horse pull out the stops over an inadequate trip at the weekend.

Agree with the comments in today's Post about the eyecatching run of Ocean's Minstrel on Saturday. First run since being gelded, should have won and is still available at 40/1.

I backed gala evening last year and it didnt run, have i any chance of recouping my money this year ? The trainer has been dying to run this horse in this race for a couple of years now and it's a horse i have a soft spot for, anyone know whether he intends to run him this year or not ? |
