Think you will have to buy your tickets on ebay as they usually sell out on the day in August
Been in the Princess royal roof, good view large bar area with a few bars/tote windows and a champagne type bar.
Didnt seem too hard to get served, but if i remember right there was large Q at the Tote windows.
Its basically a large room so can be a bit hard to find yourself a space,if your in a large group.
Im in the Princess royal stand seat this year again

Not long now Mully Laugh
Ended up booking a B&B in Bold St (Credit crunched)
I have a wee trip to San Fran and Vegas in between so the time will fly in!

Evening all, hoping to come up to Aintree for the first day of the GN meet; will be my first visit, stopping in Southport for a couple of nights.  Regarding tickets, do you have to pre-order for Tatts or can you pay on the day?
Cheers

you use to be able to pay in on the gate colupaul but not 100% sure if u can do that any more,, u can buy them online or ring the hotline an pay an extra £5 to get them deliverd by courier or if u book them just pick them up on the day of the races from the ticket office

Hi Mully, Ive yet to book anywhere. I'll be going on the cheap side whatever, there was a place on Laterooms.com for about 45 notes a night for a twin, that'll do for me...

Opted for Southport cos its got plenty of decent ale houses...
