What is your view on the Nassau tomorrow.
I think Midday will be underpriced and will get beaten. I've been of the view that both her and Sariska, whilst being very good fillies, are not in the same league as Ouiji Board or even Alexander Goldrun. I want to have a decent bet on Stacilita as I think she could show her class tomorrow over the trip. I think there have been valid reasons for her 3 disappointing runs to date. 2 of them were over a mile and half - she quickened in both races but then seemed to empty a furlong out. Her first run this season just seemed a gallop to blow away the cobwebs. Although her form and rounded action would suggest that she is better on softer ground, conditions won't be firm tomorrow - my concern is Rosanara who I view as the potential spanner in the works but maybe her form with Special Duty isn't that good after all.
I wondered what your views were.
I am much more of a National Hunt man myself - it's my oldest brothers stag do tomorrow, a few of us are travelling down from Surrye. It looks a tricky card and would therefore welcome any recommendations for topspeed rated horses that you think should win.

Sorry Swagger, the Nassau is a bit too tricky for me. Boringly, Midday tops my figures but isn't something I could bet on. I have Jonny Mudball slightly best in at the weights for the Stewards' but gonna be difficult making all. If pushed for a bet I'd go for Majestic Myles in the nursery, good luck.
No worries - many thanks Figgis. Great call with Harbinger for the King George, it was some performance. I think he is worth taking on for the Arc given the price, but obviously it was the King George that mattered for you. I was on course that day and you have to say he was immense. He reminded my in terms of build, size and scope of a lot of the top class American Dirt bred horses. He was absolutely ripped!
Yeah I agree about the Arc. Actually I think it's a pity Stoute didn't pitch him straight into a group 1 instead of the Hardwicke, as for me it was a group 1 winning performance in a group 2 race and there's only so much petrol in the tank. I reckon he'd be just as effective over 1m2f and could've easily taken the Eclipse, easier with hindsight though.

if pushed i might go with cumanis one e/w. an unbeaten filly improving is always one to be wary of and while she's not of the class of some of these she's the one who'll handle the ground imv

Probably too late for you now Swagger, but having looked back on the card for Jonny Mudball's last run I reckon I probably underestimated his win by a few pounds. I was a bit sceptical at the time because of the perceived rail bias but now I think it was possibly just a case of the best horses managing to get the favoured rail. If the times are taken at face value I rate it a group 2 performance, giving him half a stone in hand of these at the weights. At 16/1 it's worth giving him the benefit of the doubt.
plat really cant fancy this ,but given your form it will probably win easy,just cant get invovled at 9/1,good luck with it,- rosanara,will win ,4/1 a bit boring - but not bad for easy money.would like to give a really excieting winner/price - but sorry - a dull and boring 4/1 collection.
I usually do well with biggish priced horses in h'caps (not sprints) tbh and this type of race doesn't really suit me so take my selection with a pinch of salt but i've had a little e.w. on the Godolphin horse Antara (16/1) as i think she'll enjoy the step up in trip and relish the easier going today than she encountered at R.Ascot.
Whether that means she'll be good enough to return a proft is debatable but i think she'll run better than her odds imply.

Shouldn't be much between Midday and Stacelita, but on the noise about STacelita being Arc fav last year, she is clearly the value at 5.8. GL
