Well for one day a week at least to help with schooling etc...
With Choc out for a long time and Wayne out injured at the moment left them short of experience despite some good kids coming through.
So Sam is down there riding and Id expect him to get a fair few Barbury Castle rides this season.
A perfect decision with Sam not now being retained by anyone.

A good jockey, Sam. Some jockey's don't always get on with some stables. Look at Davy Russell, couldn't buy winners over here but absolutely top class in Ireland.
Sam has had his fair share of injuries too so desrves to pick up some good rides. Alan King must have some well handicapped horses given his in and out form from last season.
I reckon there are a couple of well handicapped horses there.
Personally, I think Wayne is a very good deputy to Choc and will be good for him to pick up better rides.
However, in the meantime I think Sam is the perfect person to offer help around the yard.

Good addition at Barbury Castle Deadloss and totally agree that WH is a more than capable jock :o)
Cant do any harm and his experience could be crucial in what is an important time of the year.
Let's hope he can get back to the top of the tree. When he left Venetia Williams, things haven't gone so well since then.
His ride at the big Irish race last season was the best ride all season from what i watched
great jockey and deserves a great job. hope doors will open for him
