When will some people learn
if you know just how Ballydoyle operate its so obvious what his role has been........still, job done for this year, sat back and counting the cash generated by this horse.[;)] |

When will you learn that some of us don't care about foreign breeding operations. If it makes you feel more successful in life that someone of your nationality has a lot of money, then more power to your elbow. If only Bill Gates was Scottish i'd be ever so happy.

Didn't see the race but sounds like he was awful.

He ought to win this with his head in his chest.
Coming down a lot in class. |

The Ger Lyons horse looks good.
Cant forgive Steinbeck his last run against Famous Name. He was destroyed and back and forth to America on the dirt. Big lay for me |

IT FINALLY WON
a race that wasn't his Maiden |
|
By:
Decent win there, we all knew he's not the superstar some of us thought he might be but he's found his level and think he can take a low Group race next up.

Agree with you here ben 10,considering his recent US trip he did well to come back with a win,it does take a lot out of them but it was not the strongest field, you may remember me saying back in the spring I always thought he would be better in the Autumn even next year saying that though doubt he is good enough for them to keep him, hope you backed him and got some money back at last!

See the great Steinbeck along with St.Nicholas Abbey and Beethovan all run in the GR3 Diamond stakes at Dundalk October 1st over 10f,I wonder if eric morris has seen this.

Look at the entries for the Group 3 Solonaway Stakes at the Curragh on September 12th. The horse listed just above Steinbeck.

Group 3 winner yesterday. O'Brien afterwards: "He'd have prefered a stronger gallop and better ground, but he found plenty for pressure and seems to be coming back to what we though he would be."

O'Brien I doubt planned for this star miler to run in this sort of race back in the spring,I'm sure he will be sold to stand in some far off place this winter.eric morris may send him a mare!!!He loves the dog.............sorry top miler

That sums the pryck up. |

Not sure what that means? Other than being plain offensive. Sounds like they've decided to just start again with him and give him chance to find his level. He's now taken a Listed and Group 3 race so he's got a bit of confidence up. In terms of future targets this year he'll probably find it tough and I guess if they wanted to go for a Group 1 race again that would be the Breeders Cup Mile. Not saying he's a bet or anything but he now looks to be going the right way; he probably paid for a light two year old campaign and seems to be maturing now at least. Think there is scope for improvement next year if anyone like Mike De **** is looking for a Dubai horse where he'd probably find a race and nice pot. 6 races in 4 months isn't bad for a cripple anyway [;)]
|
|
By:
Yes ben10 I reckon you may have a point there, not too sure about the US but Mike De **** is a possibility,to me he did look a bit stronger in himself now than back in the spring so he's going the right way at least, always thought he would need time and maybe come good during the latter part of the season, still doubt he's real GR1 though next run should tell us more.
