How far has Cavalryman FALLENCry
Report ben10 July 19, 2010 10:44 PM BST
Godolphin have a great record last few years in this, possibly worth looking to one of theirs imo
Report ben10 July 19, 2010 10:47 PM BST
The filly Antara's form looks pretty good after the Falmouth....
Report Zaynar July 19, 2010 11:43 PM BST
I'd be very careful with Monitor Closely had lots of problems with his knees and may just need this race for fitness hasnt done much galloping at all

Favourite wins this.

If there were a valis excuse for Cavalryman at Ascot he'd have a big shout- anybody heard anything?
Report carvillshill July 20, 2010 2:40 PM BST
BTW anyone got any views on the massive TS ratings from the Arc- believable or not?
Report ben10 July 20, 2010 4:26 PM BST
Why shouldn't they be? RPR similar anyway so could say it's pretty reliable. Only excuse could be the ground but seemed worse than that even so big question mark over him at that price. Does Rebel Soldier look a big price to anyone?
Report Shark12 July 20, 2010 10:30 PM BST
The market for this is an absolute joke. There is no way Rainbow Peak should be favourite, Cavalryman should be by a long way although I dont necessarily think he is the winner.

Allybar @ 20/1 is the value for me. If he reproduces the form he showed in Dubai over the winter then he will have an excellent chance in my opinion. Al Zarooni seems to be running into a bit of form, has had a few at big prices run well in the last 5 days (Miss Jean Brodie & Buzzword) and this really doesnt look too difficult a contest.
Report carvillshill July 20, 2010 10:31 PM BST
It's just that a race in which almost every horse runs a TS equal or above its RPR is very rare- looks a bit suspect to me.
Report lobos July 21, 2010 11:21 AM BST
Is cavalryman likely to run?
Report Shark12 July 22, 2010 6:36 PM BST
Nope Cavalryman not running. Allybar and Balius for Godolphin.
Report Zaynar July 23, 2010 8:15 PM BST
What wins this race? Although worried about Monitor Closely's fitness he has to be a good each way bet at 9/2?
