This season's Championship will be interesting as Henderson and possibly Twiston Davies challenging Nichols.
Henderson will have some decent chasers with the likes of Long Run, Punchestowns, Mad Max, Jack the Giant, barbers Shop and a couple of others I have probably forgotten. These chasers along with his usual string of experienced and novice hurdlers will provide Nicholls with a test.
Nicholls string might not be as strong as the last few season but obviously he still has an unbeliveably strong string.
Twiston Davies continues to improve every season he just lacks the rich owners that Henderson and Nicholls have at their disposal.
If I was to price it up I would go for:
Nicholls 4/6
Henderson 5/2
Twiston Davies 8/1
King 1000/1

Maybe not this year but Donald McCain will have a serious say within next five years, imo.

Only What a Friend is young enough to improve among the Nicholls big guns though. He may well get some new blood but if they were both limited to last years inmates I would go for Henderson.
I think Pride of Dulcote (if he can get, and stay fit) could have a big season ahead of him for Nichols. His form with Weapons Amnesty couldn't be better - shame he can't have a Novice Chase campaign but looked very very impressive when he won his only chase last year - Gold Cup campaign maybe?
pride of dulcote totally forgot. ide run him a few times now around this time. get him high enough to sneak into the henessy lol
well chief. i have been told he will almost certainly go for the Ryanair although i'm hoping they put him in for the Gold Cup as I've backed him for it
