Agree, will be a long term project I think, dam's got a stout pedigree, nothing like what the owners usually buy. Strong Suit's good enough for them to enjoy though!

She was quite impressive, but slow time.

Mortitia broke great, travelled sweetly, must have hit 6/4 in-running at the 2f pole, found nothing!

Good start for the filly and I would expect her to appear in something like the Prestige Stakes next

Impressive debut.  Travelled beautifully, ran a bit green when asked to quicken (probably for the first time in her life), changed her legs and half-stumbled at one point, won very comfortably.  I'm sure there's a lot more to come.  It will be fascinating to see how she compares with Memory by the end of the season.

In the Strong Suit thread I called Mrs Wood a small owner.

I may have to revise that

straight to the Guineas then the paddocks if she was mine.
