Is this as much a certainty as it looks? Purely in the place market bigger than evens a place 1-4 looks huge to me. He is clearly on thw upgrade still and finished amazingly well over a furlong less last time.

What are everyones thoughts on the race? Ive had a decent bet for me on here in the place market with a mucher smaller bet in the win market.

Spin Cycle looks a good thing in the 2.15 also having been running with credit in much better races than this so far this season.

Couldn't believe all the traffic Fallon found last time.

On a more serious note, high draw would be a slight concern to me, I would be a backer if he'd got a low draw but at the price in a big field not a value bet for mine.

PP go 11/2 and are paying out on first 5 in the race along with Spoils, b365 and slybet

If Fallon was shocking on it last time, Ted Durcan was even worse!

Agree that Spin Cycle looks interesting in the 2:15.  Prefer Sole Power though if he can leave his last race behind.  His two previous runs on g/f ground were very good efforts.

The run before last at Newmarket is really solid form though IMO, even if Genki was an unlucky loser from that draw with the draw bias there was that day.

An awful lot of the runners in that race have run really well since that were behind Hawk that day. If anything the ground was a little on the soft of ideal for him that day too. 6f on better ground should be ideal.

BTW thanks forgotmyusername for pointing out what I trying to get my head round. Fallon rides Hawkeyethenoo for the first time tomorrow ffs! I didn't think he rode him last time but the red wine was twisting my melon man!!!!

gl onslow!

I'm on £70 win at an average of 11/2 and £200 in the place market at 2.18. I'm not a big backer for places especially in fields like this but I really fancy the horse today.

28 runners . too short

Ded Turcan looks nowt like Fellon Laugh

This is the bet of the season thus far today..i have made no sectret of the fact I think this horse will end up AT LEAST Group 3 class one day mush like High Standing who was once rate 36.

The turn of foot his horse has is simply amazing and very rare indeed.

The trip is perfect unlke the lightning 5f at epsom yet he still nearly won.

Lots of decent horse behind at Newmarket have won since... I am masssiv einto this at 6/1

Only yhte draw can beat this machine today

WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH  ... NOT TOOOOO FAR...FELLON

DAN

I think this beast is diff gravy mate..i woulda taken my chance v the Nosediver horse if it got in the handicapp proper.

I think this horse has GROUP class turn of foot I really do.

This is a stick on today with luck in running although I have to admit I am NOT a fan of FELLON

I think he is monumentaly over rated

Bbut thems the breaks

You took any 12's for the Stewards JOKER? I've had a piece.
Report Stevie Gerrard June 27, 2010 1:33 PM BST
I've not had a bet myself but he is certainly a very intersting horse. as he has shown an impressive turn of speed. however the newmarket win he did seem adavantaged by the good draw and nice run through against the rail.
at epsom whilst he was unlucky to some extent, he has raced on the rail most of the way and had a reasonable run through late on and came home strongly as you'd expect with the strong pace they went up front.
I'm not sure how good he is just yet, hopefully today we'll find out.

Jembatt might go well at 18s.
Report geoff m June 27, 2010 2:28 PM BST
Clear stands side bias @ the curragh.
Glam spirit shouldt have won that on such unfavourable terms with lised/g3 horses(but having took 33s e/w after the 1s,taftertiming @ its best) im glad he did.
Hawk has had a rail bias to favour him last 2 runs & has jumped up the hcap accordingly
Hawkeye is going to struggle from trap 18
Win & place lay for me
Report cruise d June 27, 2010 2:58 PM BST
Now 3/1 on here. Huge amount of people going in. Being on from last night is looking good. I'm confident of the place but I'm thinking of layin my win bet off for a free bet at 5/2 now.
Report carvillshill June 27, 2010 3:40 PM BST
Needs to have 7-8lbs in hand to win from there.
Report cruise d June 27, 2010 4:02 PM BST
I'm more than happy with that. I tried to lay off the win bet in running but was just a little too greedy. There is no skill in backing place markets on favs I suppose but that was the most confident 5/4 bet I've ever put down.
