2 selections a race is pricy but I'm happy to stake it if you send me contributions!
Otherwise 1 selection a race and all contributers put it on themselves ( we'll win it a few times and have more goes at the bonus next week! )
If you want to play select a race and provide the write up and selection below....
I'll have one race - whichever isn't taken will do.
Tote have just released the Scoop6 races for this Saturday, 22nd May. They are: -
Scoop6 Race 1 : 2.15 Goodwood Scoop6 Race 2 : 2.30 Haydock Scoop6 Race 3 : 2.45 Goodwood Scoop6 Race 4 : 3.00 Haydock Scoop6 Race 5 : 3.10 York Scoop6 Race 6 : 3.40 York Win fund £968,299 rolled over from last week and the Bonus fund starts at £414,985. £2 MILLION or so up for grabs i guess...
Has to be worth a go with some of the shrewdies on here...
nosey...been thinking about this....its probably 2 late to organise contributions etc ( maybe for the future)
i did think of an idea where bye we agree a perm foe everyone..along the lines of 2x2x2x1x1x1...the choice of the 2's going to the selector..
i think £16 is fair for everyone( would be happy to increase if everyone wanted)
any place returns go to the backer...winnings shared out of course...

i think that's a good comprimise...if the people selecting pick one main selection and a next best then the organiser ( i guess me this time ) can pick the perm and we all stake it to the tune of 16 quid...
is that what you mean...? I'b be ok with it for sure
if this one rolls we could have a proper go with a larger perm next time

nosey iwas thinking more of the placer just picking what he thinks...using the collective knwledge on here...and then posts what he has put on...and we get a few cracks at it..

just like a pool down - the harder it is to find the placed horse it pays more and depends on who gets it...normally pays similar to a placepot in that regard...a few hundred pretty normal I think

Not a regular, and not an expert, but here's my contribution.
RACE 6
5f York H'cap
There have been 6 h'caps with 15-17 runners at this distance, 2005-2010. 5 out of the 6 winners were drawn in stalls 1-4. In case you think they may have just been fancied horses, their SPs were 14/1, 12/1, 22/1, 16/1 and 11/1
1-6 Stall 1 0-6 3-5 1-5 0-6 0-6 0-5 0-5 0-6 0-6 0-5 0-6 1-6 Stall 13 0-6 0-6 0-4 Stall 16 0-3 Stall 18 ?? (may just be a RI glitch.)

Just did a check for 14 runners, in h'caps. 4 winners, in stalls 1, 4, 7 and 15, so backs up stalls 1-4.
Last year's winner, Ishetoo, was ridden by Jamie Kyne.
There was also a Forum Chaarge on Ishetoo, iirc.

not many people stepping up and putting any horses up for consideration...can always take the best picks off the saturday thread though...
I remember the Ishetoo charge...Moloko started it i think...?

Will be including this stayer from the Perrett yard. Two excellent efforts at Goodwood - firstly winning at last years summer meeting then running a stormer in better race that August.
Come back run was a good one - looked like it was needed and then ran ok race at Newmarket which is not suited to the horse. ( failed there in between two of his 12f wins last year... )
Decent ground a plus and should be prime now ( won third time up last year ) and the slight drop in mark is kind. This does not look the strongest class 2 and I think the bookies have it right with him 4/1 fav or so...entered in the Hardwicke so this looks a good stepping stone
anyone keen on something against this one?

Sohraab fits the Me2 stats re the draw...York 3.40
Ran well from a tough draw at Chester but is starting to look well handicapped on previous listed efforts, 1 from 1 at the track, will like the ground quick, visor on first time and stable is flying with it's sprinters...
Travis Block not ridden a winner here yet and only gets this one chance tomorrow...thinking of putting this one with Hamish and two in the race....

Very good performance lto after a long break, looked home and hosed before Industrious Blue came and got him late on.
Trainer very happy with last run which would suggest he wasn't fully tuned up as well.
Marcus Tregoning, trainer: “He’s in good form. The ground I think will be okay after all the controversy last week and it should be alright for him, he likes the top of the ground. I think the run behind Illustrious Blue was exceptional considering how long he was off.”
Will have come on for that it seems, Hills goes up to ride and should be still progressive as very lightly raced for a 6yo. 9/2 decent price imo.
any thoughts?

looking at this race now...way too many godolphin horses imo
agree with Aajel, the price looks fair enough too...loads of forumites on that last time so i would say it has to be in the perm...

Gask horse Shahwardi looks way overpriced at 25s in the 310 at York. Some of his French form is very good and this is a lot weaker field than he has been racing against.

To be honest, its a bit daunting to take responsibility for a race that other people will follow your selections in. Who wants to baggsy race 1, and send everyone's tickets down the Swannee?

The Toat Buypot is ripe for the 'pros' to cherrypick with combis now, seems inevitable this reverse Robin Hood bet will be moving money from the poor to the rich again.
