You haven't got any strong fancies for Chester have you? Some girl I know is going and a winner could seal the deal! I was looking at Carcinetto won off 95 over CD. Off 92 and ran well at Leicester time before last back on G/F.

Off 92 and ran well at Leicester time before last back on G/F. I'm not in the best of form right now, but for what its worth, I'll be backing Dazzling Light in the 4:35. Good luck with the girl [;)] |

Borderlescott @ 4 No Hubris @ 8 Steinbeck @ 3 Gile Na Greine @ 5 Gl All |

I acually quite like Parisian Pyramid's chances on Saturday.
Xtension in the Guineas. Canford 2nd. Viscount Nelson 3rd. Total Gallery/Wi Dud. Hitchens running in Ireland? |
|
By:
For Enjybenjy
Can't see past Little Scotland in first and Brae Hill in 3rd for Fahey double - will be shortish prices though but a winners a winner! |
|
By:
Benjy,
I think Parisian Pyrmaid has a good chance aswell. In that race I think its interesting that Tom Dascombe has put a tongue tie on Johnny Mudball. This year he has put first time tongue ties on Pomeroy and Nubar Boy and they both won. This one also may improve for faster ground having twice ran on good to soft this season. He handled the AW very well so could find fast turf to his liking. |
|
By:
Yeah I seen Little Scotland. I'd imagine that will be odds on.
I keep getting drawn to Legal Eagle in the 2nd. Well drawn, likes to race prominently and visored 1st time.Has ran well over CD off 6lb higher. I might even back it myself. |

Silver Bowl - Gunner Lindley sniff
Temple - Equiano spaff 14.15 Goodwood - Mac Gille Eoin Also like Tabaret at York and Keredari in the Irish Guineas gl ![]() |
|
By:
Agreed with FFT, MAC GILLE EOIN the standout bet now back at Goodwood on a lenient mark. Sporting life predict 7s, if anywhere near that a massive ew bet is going on. Will be around joint favourite with riley imo.

i thought they might be waiting for the Wokingham with Riley, obiouvsly not,

Ran a solid race TD, but we were all a bit honest to be disappointed as we still think he's capable of much more. Jockey just said that he lacked his usual fizz late on, so maybe the race came to soon (we had been told after bangor he'd been very tired for 3/4 days). On the other hand it probably was quite a good race for the level. The winner, Astracad could be anything, the 2nd has finished 2nd since to a very promising unexposed sort and the 5th Tabaran won a Class3 easily the other day off the same mark. Just letting the trainer decide the plan now, though wouldn't suprise me if he's out again in sometime in the next 2-4 weeks if a suitable races comes up.

disappointed to be honest** even!

yeah, looked a decent race for the time of year. i'm sure he'll be able to pick up some more races over the summer.

Evening,
2:15 Goodwood, Mac Gille Eoin. Goes well on the course/ground and 4th to Prime Defender off level weights looks good now. 2:30 Haydock, Balducci. Won Newmarket maiden cosily from future winner Harvest Dancer before going down to Oasis Dancer who is running in the Irish Guineas. Very well handicapped, imo. 3:00 Haydock, Equiano. Is flying again, Borderlescott needs a few runs to get going, Kingsgate Native will probably need the run as well. Total Gallery giving lumps of weight away again. 3:40 York, Sohraab. Has gone well on firmer ground and won off this mark before. Hopefully a visor will get him going. |
|

btw, GL all [:D]

I'm quite smittin with Equiano
mainly cause I dont think people respect him enough for what he's done this seasson. He's my big pick for the King Stand Stakes. I just think it's going to be extremely difficult for Nicconi to spot a front runner like him 6 or 7 lengths and still win...especially with Equiano back to the form he was in when he won the race a couple years back. anyways thats the future...tomorrow...which is also the future hahah...yep Bomb out and make all. ta that will do. 3rd run off a break, form of his life, nice fast ground. not botherered by the official ratings cause that took a huge knock last season when he was badly wrong. [smiley:crazy] |

2.30 Haydock,No Hubris ,High Twelve and may be Hacienda.
2.45 Goodwood,Record Breaker.NAP.[:p] That will probably be it tbh ![]() |
|
By:
Agree with record Breaker TT, becoming well handicapped imo, depends if fergus soaks it again, MGO in the 1st with his record on downhill tracks, Sohraab with the 1st time visor, Sir Geoffrey from the front at Chester and Halsion Chancer back to a mile at Newbury with a claimer up
|
|
By:
Big price imo Zil,agree about the watering, which would be a worry
![]() |
|
By:
Chester - Only bet here will be Brae Hill, unlucky last time (when I backed ;\), should be able to get it back tomorrow, about 3/1ish would be decent.
York - Like the two Goldie horses in the Sprint, both decent on their day, but hard to predict. Aajel looks a moral in the stayers race. Curragh - Small bet on Sebastien Flyte in the Guineas, price is too big imo. Canford by far the most likely winner imo. Haydock - Equiano in the Temple and Balducci in the 1 mile handicap. Been waiting a while for Balducci, think he should win decent races this season. |

Evening.
I thought I'd better post on here rather than leave them on obscure threads that no one ever seems to visit! ![]() The Silver Bowl, Haydock, Saturday. My take on this race is that as far as I am concerned (having now had a good look), is there are question marks against all the leading fancies for this and with that in mind, I hope I may have dug out a reasonable ew contender. I think the horse in question is capable of winning this providing a mile isn't too far, although I think he will get the trip. I will be disappointed if he doesn't at least make the frame. I have therefore had a small dabble on Unshakable Will which I hope can run a good race from a good draw after not getting the best of runs last time. In the preceding race, I very much like the look of Beat The Rush, and with this one being around the 5/1 mark, could get us on the way to a winning double of around 100/1 with the other horse being at least 16/1 at the time of writing. ![]() |

Have a fair few fancies tomorrow
Already mentioned 2 at Chester (Little Scotland & Brae Hill) Goodwood - Mac Gille Eoin & Record Breaker (I'm going to have to post earlier as both mentioned favourably by others!) York - Tactic, Indian Trail & Baltimore Jack (in 5.25) Haydock - Private Story, Balducci (Pricewised?)& Blue Jack Canford in Irish 2000. Thats the Scoop 6 won & will do some e/w yankees/trixies etc to maximise profits!!! GL everyone! |

I cannot envisage defeat for Mac Gille Eoin
