Redal why Cape Rock at Newmarket - I thought Santefisio would be winning today??

Cape Rock is a punt mate. The run at Newmarket last year was his best speed figure by a long way and may have been overrated but his win was also on G/F ground. The trainer is the Weekender this week says he is fairly treated and I thought his return run on the AW behind Primaeval may have taken the fizz out of him. 7f may be stretching him. As I say just my opinion. The drawback with Santefisio for me is the stable form, not turning out winners yet. Sandor last night was another which ran like it needed the race even when well backed. Ocean Legend has had chances, I think the main threat is Belle des Airs who turned in a best ever figure on her return. As I say at 6s I thought it worth a punt.

   Ran on soft last twice, ground could make the difference today. Won easy off this mark on firm. Hannon does okay at Newbury and he has P Hills riding, who won for him on outsider Love Action earlier in the week.

Was having a mare on the day with 3 losers, all decent sized bets. Almost didn't bother with the 2 Curtis runners, scaled back the bets but fortunately doubled them too.
