Crackentorp @ 25s looks interesting to me.
Didn't show much fto on first run for new stable but judged on it's effort last season behind Red Merlin, is well handicapped. Stable seem to be going well this week, stable jock now up and the quicker going should suit (compared to g/s lto). Well drawn and 5yr olds do well in this. Fair price despite the ? imo. |

First glance i'll be sticking with Class is Class in the 2.10, may have needed the run fto, and although being by Montjeu, he seems to prefer quicker gnd.
Ran two very good races last autumn - 2nd over the Cd of 94 to Whispering Gallery(he's now rated 115), then was 4th over 10f at Newbury of 95 nto, the form of that race has also worked out very well. He runs today of 94 including his jockeys claim. |

Been a shoite meeting for me so far, so here's my two woofers for Friday
2.10 Cool Strike - Consistent sort who found one too good lto who was still pretty well in imo. Balding's appear to be running well and 11/1 for CS looks decent enough. 2.40 Purple Moon - For me the best horse in the race. I heard Cumani said he need the run lto behind Hamburger, and it certainly looked like it. Not overly convinced by stable form though, but on best form he wins this on the spaff. |
|
By:
Hanoverian Baron my other one against the field as that Epsom run lto looks solid, will appreciate the flatter track and shouldn't mind the longer trip imo. 9/1 seems fair.

Watched the Acrostic and FDM races and they seemed to be getting into the race then started going backwards. Not sure what to make of it tbh. I did notice Contradense won easily though

You guys have any idea if the 420 at York will be priced up tonight? Got a fairly big fancy, hard to tell what price it's going to be on here at the moment with no liquidity!

I'm going to give Dansili Dancer one more try to prove that his exceptional speed figure on the AW can be followed up on turf. Judiciary in the last is interesting but for the yard. Carioca will carry my money and Diman Waters the other main one.

I'll assume that this is the general Thriday fred. The Braveheart Listed H'cap at Hamilton is sponsored by Belstane Racing Stables. I'd have thought they'd be fairly keen on having a winner on the night. These are their three runners:-

It's very quick ground and as firm down the back, as I've ever known it here," said Spencer, who, on a card that saw 11 withdrawals because of unsuitable ground, was relieved that soft-ground-specialist Sariska, having been given the go-ahead only after careful consideration by Michael Bell, coped with the official good to firm going to clinch a Group 2 victory on her comeback.
Spencer added: "The first two in the race came back sore and there have been a lot of withdrawals, which is not what you want to see. "I don't like criticising. Everyone here is doing their very best, but I just feel that the taps could have been turned on sooner." Clerk of the course and chief executive William Derby said that their hands had been tied by a forecast predicting showers. He said: "We'd like to think we learn from every meeting. What I would say is, when were we supposed to water? shut your face po face frankie boy imo [>o] |

GUNNY - Cumani just had another winner at N/market
Purple Moon snaff job ![]() as for Forte Dei Marmi - handicapper caught up with him with a big weight increase? Acrostic - maybe just isn't that good like you say? |

These withdrawn horses/ rule 4s make punting here even trickier imo. Takes a lot of patience that only tt has.

I'd rather back a genuine horse like Nanton than that gayer of all g.ay horses Purple Moon. Nanton ran a great race lto(11lbs wrong against a fit horse), and should appreciate the step back up in trip.
No bet until a decision is made on Shite wood. |

Agree with Redal, ive had my second biggest bet of the year on Dansili Dancer ew at 14-1, his lad who takes 5lb gets on well with him and takes him down to 96, a mark that looks very fair in class 2 handicap company, a look at his handicap form over 12f on fast ground would back this up.

not sure FFT tbh, looks a tricky race and he's a bit short for atm for a horse that hasn't won for a while.
i've gone for Nanton at a bigger price, reckon he's gunna win a big one soon and he deserves too. Other bets at York are Thin Red Line and Dazzling Light in the second race. Sunny Game in the last and there's a few in the sprint I like that I haven't narrowed down yet. Hillview Boy up at Hamilton too, will have come on a lot for his first run and I thought that was a really good run. |

By:
Michael Dods, trainer: "We were pleasantly surprised the way he won at Chester last week. He's gone up 8lb for that, and he's got a 6lb penalty here, so I'd like to run him, but he's nice horse and I doubt that I will the way theground is; it's very quick and unless the rain comes, I'll pull him out."

Manifest interesting.
only 4 lifetime starts..gotta be more to come imo holds Purple moon on previous run at newbury and to be honest godolphin are useless so i'd take on both their horses. Cecil's running brilliantly all week so I think this fella will take this in his stride. |
