Might be the fav... but drawn 11 in the last 10 years all winners drawn single figures...

Surely this horse is worth taking on?

How many of the horses draw from 11 have had weight allowances ?
Report platinni • May 12, 2010 11:48 AM BST
small field this year

14 or less runners 9, 6, 8, 5 boxes have been successful

id take him on based on form and its a tough ask for a 3yo this early

I think the draw could negate its weight allowance at York... you could argue StaspangledBanner cant win off top -weight but is drawn well...

Out of the two I would always go for the former... I think in sprints draw is a bigger advantage than weight. My opinion ... might be wrong... but will need to be a mchine to win from there.

Me too Plain
Draw(and fitness) is the only worry, as he is not a small horse.

I dont think its cast iron by any means, saved on starspangled also. Just though main aim was a ridiculous price and needed taking on, rest look outclassed in this grade. Could see prime defender running well at a big price, but cant win.

I quite like Showcasing; his course win will stick in the mind of everyone and it looks reasonable form still. Gosden going really well and can't have Starspangled because he looks a miler and they don't win Group 2 sprints in this country imo, particularly the way the stable is going and with his penalty. Showcasing's biggest problem won't be the draw, I think he might want the ground a touch faster. Main Aim's July Cup form is the best on offer, I felt he was over raced last year.

Did you back PD?

I think he ran a good race considering he came out of the stalls slowly... last two furlongs stormed to 2nd...

think worth backing for Golden Jubilee rather than Kings Stand... dont think he is a 5 furlong horse.
