Report Roger The Butler May 7, 2010 4:22 PM BST
Why is TJ on Aather instead of Acambo? Could understand him being let off Acambo to ride something with a leading chance like Overturn as he won on it last time out, but he's off Acambo to ride something that is a bigger price - why?
Report Rod Tidwell May 7, 2010 4:37 PM BST
Gloucester added to the fold along with previously backed Conquisto here...guaranteed strong pace and ground staying good should suit him well at the business end of the race...although the place part of the 20/1+ on offer is the most appealing bit of this ew bet

With nibb on this one - Aather hoses up.

2pts e/w @ 25/1
Report nibbledat May 7, 2010 5:01 PM BST
aather has a leading chance imo and is priced up based on the fact hes a bit of a nonce but this less testing track will suit and is still only 7lbs higher than his cheltenham farce.i believe he is far better than a mark of 128 and hopefully timmy will time it to perfection. is the perfect stat fit imo and @25/1 is overpriced

I was gonna abandon Aather but one last chance, bigger bet on Conquisto who was the better flat horse and willlike this big field and a good pace, experience a worry but he looks a nice one!

Good Again - to win at Ascot again, lovely filly
Rose Blossom - to win at Nott, stable loved this animal last year and this looks a good start

One Way Or Another - massive price for a horse who is surely ready to win one of these at a big price?

I'm out tomorrow so make plenty chaps Cool

Black Jack Blues e.w. 20-1 b.o.g, run well at Aintree, 5lb higher and 4 furlongs less, but could still be improving. Trainer always seems to be in form.
Conquisto win 10-1 b.o.g. Could be anything.

Noble request is gonna be bang there as well imo. Love this race as it holds one of my earliest memories of NH racing. Think it was 1980 or 81, i was about 13 and just realizing the form book was more appealing than the exercise book ! My old man couldn't control his excitement about this horse and told me in no uncertain terms, i was looking for the 2nd if i didnt back it! Secret Ballot was the horse ridden by Andy Turnell for his old man and it bolted in and of course, i ignored his advice and backed summink else !!
Think it was the Royal Doulton in those days - great memories ....

gl to all 4 this monster puzzle

Many years ago a 100 double on Prideaux Boy (10/1) and Midway Lady (4/1 for the Oaks) paid the deposit for my first flat.

Report Keeponthesunnyside May 8, 2010 2:08 PM BST
Williams Wishes for me looks overpriced at 22/1. Off 134 here which looks fair considering he slaughtered some solid 120 horses last time. Compare that to Ciceron who slaightered some 100 rated horses(at best) and gets 138.  WW also fits a lot of trends in this race and looks to be progressing with age. Stays further than this but looks he is a strong traveller who should love a fast paced 2miles. Jumping in this quality of race may be a small concern but with 22/1 still available you can afford to have a jumping risk at that price. If this was trained by PF Nicholls or DE Pipe then you could half the price.
