Need to find out if he goes on ground or not. Big prize money. Laid out for the race.Not run for 70 days. No more opportunities until next season. What they gonna do if it comes up good at Cheltenham next March? A bit disrespectful to the sponsors and the meeting too who've no doubt done their best to produce ground which is safe and fair for everyone. Say what you like about Nicholls who sometimes makes excuses about the ground after the fact but he rarely pulls them out just because the going ain't spot on. Could be another reason but if it's just the ground then I think it's a poor call - what about the racegoers who've come to see him by the way. And no, I have n't backed him. |
