Like that Bjork song!!!
Report Cream Of The Crop April 16, 2010 11:40 AM BST
Had a setback a couple weeks ago apparently, hence his absence from the Craven this week.
Report stevo1 April 16, 2010 11:47 AM BST
Thanks never read that anywhere, thought something was possibly wrong, layed off some at 14s earlier in week, still drifting was on at 22s.Had saver on Pimpernel at 21.8 so should have 1 runner with chance?
Report push April 16, 2010 12:46 PM BST
Workforce is on the drift on Betfair, but SJ decide to cut him a point to 9-1 today.
Report Sir April 16, 2010 3:12 PM BST
sickness in the stable, I think
Report Cream Of The Crop April 16, 2010 3:14 PM BST
^ I think a few scoped badly a few weeks ago, and he was obviously one of them.
Report GRIZLY April 16, 2010 3:21 PM BST
agree with sir his horses are running very poorly
Report flyingbolt April 16, 2010 3:49 PM BST
He had a winner yesterday. How does that equate with "his horses are running poorly" ?
Report geoff m April 16, 2010 4:00 PM BST
Horse went to newmarket yesterday for the experience.
Report sinndar001 April 16, 2010 4:03 PM BST
Did he gallop yesterday geoff?
Report geoff m April 16, 2010 4:10 PM BST
dont think so .Was repoted on RUK went for "Paddock" experience.
Report push April 16, 2010 4:15 PM BST
Galloped last Saturday, according to the WEEKENDER ,
Report shevvy April 16, 2010 8:03 PM BST
he is 100% A okay and has had NO interuptions in his prep, drift probably due to EP winning the Craven well on Thursday and the fact he isn't having a prep run.
Report Stormbird April 16, 2010 8:21 PM BST
How do you know that about Workforce please ?
Report Chazz April 16, 2010 8:40 PM BST
i personally don't think he'll run in the guineas. stoute will see how strong a guineas it is, say to teddy that he's a lovely prospect, not much to be gained from running him in such a strong guineas, given his lack of experience he'd be seriously up against it to win it, better to aim him at dante & derby. just my opinion but sure we'll see what happens

I do know him very well ;-)

The Racing Post website feature with Tony Elves ( work watcher ) says if there is one horse in Newmarket that could give St Nicholas Abbey a run for his money it would be Workforce, that feature only came out yesterday, you would think he should know what is going on.
Report Chazz April 16, 2010 9:18 PM BST
i'd be surprised if sir michael was telling tony elves his plans
Report Prima Donna April 16, 2010 9:20 PM BST
That may be his opinion, that may not be M R Stoute's though, but we all shall see .
Report Stormbird April 16, 2010 9:20 PM BST
No but he should know how well he is working.
Report Prima Donna April 16, 2010 9:24 PM BST
He does,
Report bestmate April 16, 2010 9:38 PM BST
Golan all over again
Report Prima Donna April 16, 2010 9:45 PM BST
is that what you think?
Report push April 17, 2010 11:35 AM BST
I dont beleive the Guineas looks that strong this year, they may as well use it as a prep for Workforce if nothing else, Fencing Master and Awzaan look weak on Betfair today.
Report shevvy April 17, 2010 11:44 AM BST
If the ground proves a little fast for SNA, I's also be interested in Ballydoyle's stats FTO in April/May as I feel he is beatable,

Elusive Pimpernel did look good in the Craven but in a bigger field I could see him struggling when better horses than those that ran on Thursday do quicken.

Major stamina doubts about Canford and Arcano, and we may not really find out much more today.

Of those unexposed runners Workforce looks to most interesting.

Push I agree with you as for Fencing Master he will be running but you should be able to guess why!
Report push April 17, 2010 11:53 AM BST
Yes , well that is reflected in the price. I read your comments with interest about Workforces participation in the race ( PD ) I said you are a jinx, or more likely i am just no good at finding winners.
Report Sir April 17, 2010 1:37 PM BST
Workforce entered in two races at Sandown next friday.
Report push April 17, 2010 2:36 PM BST
Chabal is entered for those 2 races also.
Report Al2010 April 17, 2010 3:49 PM BST
What are peoples opinions on Workforce to run at Sandown and in the 2000 Guineas?
Report ben10 April 17, 2010 3:56 PM BST
Well if he ran over 1m2f surely there's no chance of him going for the Guineas
Report Al2010 April 17, 2010 3:57 PM BST
What about the conditions stakes over 1m though? Backed him a long time ago and getting a bit worried now about getting a run....
Report push April 17, 2010 3:59 PM BST
Not like Stoute to run one so close to the Guineas
Report ben10 April 17, 2010 4:02 PM BST
Yeah would only be a week so you'd have to be worried, does seem strange they're wobbling on the race, maybe he's just a little backward still.
Report Prima Donna April 17, 2010 4:04 PM BST
You may be correct ben10 ;-)
Report Graeme83 April 17, 2010 4:07 PM BST
A couple of words from trainer or connections wouldn't have went a miss.
Report Leo Bovary April 17, 2010 4:55 PM BST
Will not run according to RUK
Report shevvy April 17, 2010 7:57 PM BST
