I am taking 10 days holiday from tomorrow evening. During that time I will, in no particular order:
walk a part of Hadrian's Wall go below deck on the UK's last U-Boat get drunk with Eirrog see Frankel repaint the flagstones in my parents' back garden Sleep in a tent for at least 2 nights Cast a fly to try and catch a trout Cast a fly to try and catch a salmon go to Lindisfarne visit a Roman Fort drink lots of beer  |

Just watched some vids for the Acomb Stakes. Steeler is one hell of a lazy b'stard! He was shoved along from an awful long way out last time. I can't see this small field suiting him. Afonso De Sousa was mighty impressive last time and shoul be hard to beat. Ebn Arab looked like a nice burly sort and should improve a fair bit from his York run, though he probably needs to.

In the opening sprint, I thought Le Toreador looked pretty game last time and Mass Rally didn't seem to be put under maximum pressure last time.

Afonso De Sousa was impressive but he beat what ? and o'brien SR is pants here in last 5years , Ebn Arab won lto in a race never been won by a fto hoss 2nd and 4th won since think the books have them the wrong way round imo !

I thought Steeler would be a fair bit shorter, despite his laziness. My speed figures have him well clear. I think I'll take a chance, though expect it'll be painful to watch him.
