Both imo, has won over 1m3f and yesterday was running on strongly over 1m2f,so you would probably think 1m4f would suit more, but i can see Johnny G. slapping some blinkers on him for the Cambridgeshire, just to buck his ideas up,he's not adverse to doing this in big races.Just needs a bit of cut in the Cambridgeshire and we are in business imo ;)
Got an ideal draw yesterday - low and surrounded by plenty of pace, so he could tuck in nicely and get a good tow without having to run wide round the top bend.
Even with all this he still couldn't get involved except at the death, over an extended 1m2f. Why would the drop back in trip help?
Back up to 12f IMO
....and yes, I did back him and like all good each-way bets, he came a close-up, never nearer fifth in a 16+ runner handicap!

looks like I'm in minority but I didn't think Fortune really tried in yesterday's race. Didn't stoke him up until the race was over, and wasn't hard on him. To me, it looked like a classic prep race performance. If he'd won yesterday would he have got a penalty for Cambridgeshire?

Would have got another 3lbs - already has 4lb penalty from his win at kempton after weights were released (charm school off 91), and max you can get is 7lbs. So he races off 95 - would have been 98 if had won on saturday.
Personally i have been backing charm school since the prices came out and think should be single figures.
Really fancy it

Pipedreamer mark II...? It would surely be wise to ensure he carries 3lbs less. If there's cut in the ground, and it becomes a proper stamina test, he'll be right in the mix, I reckon.

Didn't think Fortune was busy on this horse yesterday and it turned out an ideal prep race despite the race being worth 62k to the winner. Was very easy to back on here which suggests plenty knew yesterday wasn't the day, suspect they will go down the Cambs route although personally I think 1m 4f will be right up it's street.

Nibb, have noted your dog comments a few times, care to enllighten us, have seen this horse run crackers, and get hampered a couple of times, never seen it run dog like.

totally agree, ran a good trial in a race that produces cambridgeshire winners.
