Plat, any idea as to why that horse has just changed yard ? reason I ask is because J Fahy was originally booked to ride TBK but clear he has jumped ship to your one ..

By:
alright sint
did the same trick with carte diamond a few years back iirc. fahy was a bonus but im not sure if ellison had him booked for one of his from the get go? trainer not happy the draw however |
|
By:
i think he's remembering carte diamond drawn 3 when he won but as you can see the last few years have shown high draws have not been inconvenienced

cheers plat. I just wondered why Hannon would let him go if he thought the horse was about to win a race like this, but i've no idea of the reasons/money involved so who knows. When I looked on Tuesday Fahy was definityely chalked up for King on RP site.
Im sticking with TBK, happy with Adam Beshizza on. |

P&L -3.55 after final day.
Only caveat is Plat's big race betting threads were started after the Cheveley Park last year, and thus no ante-post Special Duty wagers were permitted as per rules, and there were a few of us that lumped the 8/1 at Laddies (posted on here on the respective threads, 1.5pts). Nevertheless, it has been a disappointing summers punting for me and now look forwards to the Jumps. wd Carvills. |

![]() After fosters cross and simenon placing my final figures are + 304.325 [:D] Cheers plat 4 making me concentrate a bit more with this fred, always find the flat harder than the jumps, more runners, less distance, draws and dodgy COC's , regular interference all conspire against us !! ![]() Roll on Cheltenham friday ............. I'd like to echo Liam's sentiments- many thanks to Plat for starting this thread and for being a massive inspiration. Form is temporary, class is permanent Plat and some of the winners you dug out on here had me shaking my head in disbelief. Discovering you lot at the end of last jumps season was huge for me- bouncing ideas around on here and on the Purple has as Liam says been fantastic in concentrating the mind on the right races- it made me go back to what I'm good at, the better races with the exposed form. Liam your gung-ho balls-deep style of punting has also been a revelation to me- we all put in a lot of work at this and should punt fearlessly like you to get the most we can out of it- all of you that posted a decent profit long term should make it a resolution to try and increase your average stake over the next twelve months- if you are confident of profit then increasing turnover is a no-brainer.
To all you others- Barry, Teddy, sint and co- all good judges as well, the sense of fun on here and on the duck makes the long hours of study much easier and helps staying positive even when things are not going well. I've found a new home, can't wait for the proper racing- if any of you are going to Chelters including the NTD stable visit would love to meet up. |
