Noll Wallop in Ireland springs to mind, probably no Classic winner but I was taken with him on debut and he followed up nicely nto. Should improve next year. Not really notebooked a lot of maidens actually, will have a think though..

Rowley Mile, I liked that one as well. |

Workforce (10/10 for originality eh ?)

Shintoh and At First Sight are two more Irish ones, both perhaps had a few problems this season but the latter could go well in a Derby trial and the former will relish quick ground next year.

The 3 in behind Revered at Newmarket will all win a race. Call To Reason, Miss Mittagong and Fashion Insider. Did like the first two in particular. Ceilidh House and Desert Sage from the Ralph Beckett stable are others I liked.
Inler's an obvious one. Name some French ones in a sec for you to look at, got a really good one that people may have missed ;\ |

French ones:
Royal Revival (Andre Fabre trained, should improve next year) Behkabad (won a Group 3, but wanted to note it because he's bred to be a thousand times better next year, half brother to Behestham) Darma (meant to be better than Rosanara) Sahitas (her dam is a sister to Schiaparelli and could be a long term project for the owners of Goldikova, although she's since lost again when I'd have liked her to win) And my main one that I really fancy for next year is Deluxe. Out of wonder-dam Hasili she has at least 4 Group 1 winners as siblings, really excited to see her next year. |

There was a Johnny G filly that was 3rd fto in a maiden in yarmouth a fortnight ago owned by khallid abdullah that took the eye. I know she isnt actually a winner but will be next spring. Think her name is Radio Wave or something like that. I think stoute had the winner of it. Couldn't be bothered checking up on it now but someone on here will remember. Anyway she is my most recent eyecatcher (dont have many because im not really into the flat) fwiw

Radio wave was a real eye catcher, bred out of Tuning i think.

Three that haven't been mentioned so far are Celidh House, Mont Agel and Tamaathul - three really nice 10f+ prospects for next season IMO.
Celidh House is from a family who get better with time/distance, so the fact she was able to make a winning debut suggests she is above average, and, of course, people will be looking to make comparisons between her and Look Here. Was pushed along early but was really impressive she got the hang of things, bounding away to score well. Whether she's up to winning an Oaks remains to be seen, but certainly a smart middle distance prospect for 2010. However, summer ground may not be to her liking looking at her pedigree! Mont Agel from the Michael Bell yard looked a very nice sort when virtually walking away with it, the form of that already looking good with the runner up going in last week. He's another bred to improve with time/age - a typical John Pearce bred colt - and could go places over 10-12f next season. Tamaathul did it really nicely at Doncaster the other week, making all and staying on strongly from Quick Wit, who went on to win last week at HQ, while Tamaathul's debut run at Newbury is working out nicely as well! Pedigree is a mix of speed and stamina, so not sure what his ideal trip will be, but more than likely he'll stay 10f next term looking at him so far. I very much like all of the horses you mentioned in your original post, in particular Bullet Train, Decorative, Fallen Idol and Principal Role. Of course, there all also plenty who didn't win on their debut who could be worth following in 2010. B-) |

I like several of the ones already mentioned. Here are a few more fillies (mostly staying types for next year):
Sagacious (J.Bolger): not been seen out since winning a mile maiden at the Curragh in July on heavy ground. By Dalakhani out of a Sadler's Wells mare, she will obviously relish middle distances next year. The runner-up Alsalwa looks a decent prospect too. The third (beaten 4½ lengths) ended the season rated 95. Anna Salai (A.Fabre): technically still a maiden, but only beaten a short neck by Zagora on debut at Deauville in August. The winner ran well in defeat behind Barouda in the Gr.3 Prix des Reservoirs. Certain future winner for Sheikh Mohammed. Hymnsheet (M.Stoute): won a Yarmouth mile maiden in October, running on well to score by a length after a tardy start. A full sister to Chorist, she may not get much further than a mile next year but looks a fine prospect. Adele Blanc Sec (T.Dascombe): won a median auction maiden at Lingfield at the end of August by 3½ lengths from the eternally disappointing Rakaan. The form probably doesn't amount to much and she's no world beater, but she has the scope to go on next year and could pick up a listed race somewhere. Seasons (H-A.Pantall): another nice prospect for Sheikh Mohammed, won on debut at Deauville in October. By Dubai Destination out of Silent Honor (winner of the Gr.2 Cherry Hinton). Deirdre (J.Gosden): won a mile maiden second time out at Newcastle in October by 3 lengths. Newcastle maiden winners rarely turn out to be top class, but this filly looks the sort to do much better next year and she's a half-sister to the classy sorts Duncan (close 4th in this year's Coronation Cup) and Samuel. Argumentative (C.Head-Maarek): clear-cut winner of a mile maiden at Saint-Cloud on debut in October. By Observatory out of the quite useful Discuss, she can go on to better things. Namaskar (J.Gosden): put up an eye-catching performance to overcome greenness on debut to win a Goodwood mile maiden narrowly (dwelt, held up in rear, good progress from 2f out, ran on well to lead last strides). By Dansili out of a dam who was placed over 10-12f (and was a half-sister to Wemyss Bight), she should do much better over middle distances next year. |

The Henry Cecil trained Rigidity is a colt who I think we've yet to see the best of so far. He is an Indian Ridge half brother to Ajaan (who Cecil also trained) and Dragon Dancer and won on his second start at Yarmouth comfortably (2 lengths), that after running with promise on his debut at Newmarket (July), running on late once getting the hang of things. The form of those races perhaps isn't overly exciting, but I'd be amazed if there wasn't more to come, especially given his pedigree suggests anything achieved at two would have to be seen as a bonus. I wouldn't be surprised if they try and nick a handicap or two off an initial mark of just 77, but has the potential to be a lot better than just a handicapper.
Burj Nahar is clearly another exciting prospect, his pedigree alone oozing class, being out of an Oaks third who is a half sister to Galileo and Sea The Stars amongst others. It is hard to quantify exactly what he achieved when winning on his debut at Nottingham in testing conditions against probably average enough opposition, but the way he travelled throughout and moved through into contention before clearing away (on the bridle) suggested he was very good. He does have to prove himself on quicker ground, but I don't see why he shouldn't; could make up into a very smart middle distance colt this season. Modeyra was another from Godolphin to impress me enormously, and she is another well-bred sort being a Shamardal daughter of Zahrat Dubai, an Oaks third and a Nassau Stakes winner. She travelled well throughout on her debut at Doncaster, coming into contention stylishly before quickening up and coming through with a sustained challenge, seeing off more experienced fillies (Gertrude Bell, Cheetah and Giant's Play) by a half length. Saeed Bin Suroor said afterwards they thought quite a bit of her, so it would be no surprise at all to see her going down the Oaks route; another whose pedigree suggests the best is yet to come. That's My Style of John Gosden's (14th) was an eyecatcher further back in the field that day, missing the kick and making some headway down the home straight before weakening; there'll be races in her next season IMO. |

[b]NEBULA STORM[b]
J.Oxx colt by Galileo in the Sea The Stars ownership Showed significant improvement from debut to win Leopardstown maiden from Is Feidr Linn staying on strongly to win by 1 1/4 lengths. The second had previously just failed to beat Noll Wallop(another promising maiden winner) @ the Curragh Noll Wallop had previously made a very promising debut behind Chabal Is Feidr Linn also ran a close up 5th (beaten a length) in the Goffs Million Mile The time of Nebula Stroms race was the fastest of the 3 juvenile races that day & compared favourably with the listed contest(on a time basis he would have finished 3rd against the older horses) Will stay& be suited by a mile /mile 2 Group horse in the making imo |
