I wouldnt bank on soft ground, Ascot drains like a colander and weve some windy sunny weather at present, to be really soft it has to have rained within 48 hours o the race imho
if it were to rain on the sat then id have Maarek as 6-1 fav for the wokingham

Will likely end up good ground. Don't fall into the trap of soft a few days before the meeting.

6mm of rain overnight at Ascot - good to soft as of Monday am.
Zilzal .. this Maarek (still 14's with one) could be the proverbial good thing. Goes in a bog if it gets that bad. Best go any load up some more.
