put main 10 up in betting order,as no confirmed runners as yet,so market best guide,
power - think 1m is at its limit,given uphill - wont stay,needs good,exposed
french fifteen - can win right handed at ,needs soft,exposed
cogito - day out,wont run ,not good enough.
born to sea - cannot beat power,so maybe a e.w
foxtrot romeo - ran power to 1l,was only its first run at 1m and in g1,so could overturn power
most improved - ran power/french fift to a blanket finish,at 7f ,never run at 8f - got im[provement in it - will run well
harbour watch - sprinter ,jubilee
alaajamher - not good enough ,worth a e,w if decent price
tales of grimm - g/firm specialist,not good enough
dragon pulse - well beaten last time,but caught for speed on its first run,given uphill ascot will be alot closer,chance
dabirism - caugth on line in french guineas,fast ground show boater ,not today.
daddy long legs - wont run

hermival - one paced beat 4 times by others

Agree about COGITO, won cheekily under Frankie, has a slight knee action so will love the ground, stable jockey pick & Brian Meehan said on BBC what you've already said. Lot to find on ratings but that's because he's only had 2 races, loads of improvement to come. Will be nearer 10/1 than the 20's currently on Betfair.

Worst opening day card, from a betting perspective ever. R.Ascot is worse for being stretched over 5 days and day 1 is now officially rubbish. We have 2 2-y-o races, a 5f sprint, a 2 and a half mile staying h'cap, a G1 procession. and the other G1 is not a betting race, given 16 runners going round that bend - it'll involve a lot of scrimmaging and there will be plenty of bad luck in running - how can you bet on that?
