I was a little disappointed after being invited from Australia to attend Royal Ascot only to be turned away because i didnt comply with the dress code.

According to the Ascot website,

"Overseas visitors are welcome to wear the formal national dress of their country or Service dress".

............Apparently wearing a singlet, boarshorts, Billabong cap and a pair of thongs dose not qualify.[;)]

You have forgotten to wear a perpetual air of arrogance and a chip on your shoulder.
