I have my doubts about Star Witness. His best wins are as a two year old and early three year old. His two most recent runs as a late three year old are not as impressive, I know there were excuses but they don't sound plausable to me. I'm starting to think that he is an early developing type who will struggle to acheive the same level as an older horse. Still at 7.2, he might still be worth the risk.

That race was taylor made for PROHIBIT. 16/1 that was about the best bet I have ever landed at Ascot, I simply couldn't see it beaten, shame about Roman Soldier at 20/1 in the double  |
