How are these races graded.Dogs being given no chance and being tailed off from trap to line. Crazy.

Well it will be backgraded then, some owner’s want their dogs well schooled and perhaps in trials, they perform better than they are going to be in 6 dog race.
You have to know your trainer and be clever enough to be realistic to know your dogs ability. If you don’t you are an idiot for owning a greyhound. |

Most trainers it’s a job, they are not going to stop a dog for 3 months for you, to you can land a gamble because they will get sacked. 2nd point as an owner it might not win, plus you have paid 3 months kennel bill for a non producer, so you need to punt a lot of money to make a profit if it wins and obviously can you get that investment on. |

Owning a racehorse is easier they will stop it for a year if you want but the stable fees are massive for an ordinary guy.
Getting money on no problem but you can come up against 2 other lads doing same thing and you have done you’re boll ix and showed you’re hand so you are fd |
