Have had runs like that. Seems like they’ll never end. Only a clean break and rest helps for me.
I see that Bockos is going for the Anglo/Irish Derby double. Some achievement if he can pull it off. I think only two have done it before (happy to be put right if wrong ) but this would be a special achievement bearing in mind how so very different both of these tracks are. I remember Holland saying in an interview how one day, sat in yet another traffic jam with a van full of dogs, en route to the regular diet of bags racing, that there had to be something better. So he set about doing something about it, and how it has worked for him. Personally, I am a huge fan of De Lahdedah and Liam Dowling and to see this fine dog give him a double Derby win would be just as good to witness but I’d love Cronin to win a Derby and Mio’s brilliant early gives him a big chance. Staying is his Achilles heel. |

If Bockos gets 6 I think the fat lady can start singing...It could get interesting if CS gets drawn in 6 with Bockos in 5.
I think it will be Sole Mio Droopys Plunge De Lahdedah Bombay Pat Cheap Sandwiches Bocko Doamond but if we get Plunge in 1, Sole in 2 and swap around 5 and 6 then it becomes far more of a race for me |

Think Just Toms the Best Done the Double Loyal ?
here he is winning the Irish https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=juObSlj-6t4 Seem to remember Dave Clarke put Sole Mio and Droopys Plunge up pre Comp ,Mio must have been a Big price ,well done |
By:
Thanks Nanny.
By:
your spot on nanny....just toms the best although that was the english winning both which is even rarer....would be some feat for diamond and the connections must have everything crossed for the 6 box to give him the best chance....
By:
Not beyond the Realms that Bocko Could do the Double Double and win the Irish again
he is some greyhound |

i have had a change of heart this year and embraced the derby.....gone to the dogs free stream is excellent and although its the same faces from RPGTV i think its actually better...i have enjoyed every round....its a shame the rain spoiled the going yesterday but central park had to be abandoned so its not a track problem....i know the pitfalls and agree with most of them but as an event its been very good....

I think I am right in saying that it was ( apparently ) Ian Greave’s first season crop, having set up as a breeder in Ireland, from which Tom’s The Best emerged to win the Irish. So a year after he started he was sat in the SPk guest suite as the winning breeder.

Patrick dog 25 value
If anyone can get it |
By:
Plough
Milo Laddada Pat Cheap Backo |
By:
Thanks fattie.
For me two draws stand out - Mio and Bockos. Same as the semi for me - Mio to dominate the run up with a huge chance of taking a good lead round the bottom turns. Bockos a huge danger of course. Ladedah in white not ideal in this line up. |
By:
Don't mind Plunge in T1 but would have loved for Bockos to have got T5....Should be a belter either way
By:
Right. I have assumed that the 6 box suits him. I just think Plunge’s ordinary starts are a bit of a minus but as you say, who knows. Any hook ups middle track and he could well benefit.
It’s a great track to lead into the back straight which is why I’ll win and place Mio on the night. It’s a special final with an Irish Derby winner in against last year’s English winner. That can’t have happened often. |

Diamond was in 5 on make up
Plough would been single digits |
By:
Agreed fattie....I took a little more of the 25's with Wills pre draw hoping that would be the case, although Plunge now shorter than that I reckon he may have been 8's or 10's with Bockos in 5....hey ho
By:
If put ladadaa in plough draw
9/4 easy shorter easy Up your jumper the rest |
By:
Shame there was no top 3 Betting when he was 25s
Deffo play around him Cast and trio , see what price he is on here for win very fast dog , Could be aggro and they cant all lead , Cracking final to look forward to |
By:
Bocko 4 and Pat 6 would have thrown the cat among the Pidgeons
By:
bockos get the draw he wants sole mio will be going in lane 3 half so plunge will have clean run until they hit the bend
