UK greyhound racing - dead?

A global IT outage has left punters unable to place bets with Ladbrokes and Coral and has stopped Sky Sports Racing from broadcasting live content.

Stunned to see only 3 Six-Dog races out of 21 so far this morning.

And Buried used to get 600 Post a day on here on Bags racing alone ,they were Listening to comms No pics

Bookie greed has killed it.  They’ve turned it from a sport into a canine bingo.

Some of the things that I see on the track these days defy belief.

It’s more or less “Anything goes” - and it won’t be long before the sport itself has gone forever..

I’m lucky - I have many memories of when it really was something special..

Racing late again today at Oxford. Happening too often at various meetings. Very poor.

Happens too often to excuse - although in poor winter weather some delays can be excused but surely not for the number of times we see it at this time of year.

Between them this evening Crayford and Doncaster’s meeting have 22 races.

Just ONE race out of the 22 has 6 runners!!

Apologies, I forgot to mention the 10 race card from Central Park that also fails to contain one 6-dog event.

So that’s one 6 dog contest out of 33 races!

Decent card at Yarmouth for their Derby final tonight although ought to have a marathon on these nights.

Racing Post doesn't help either by advertising the meeting as being a 12 race graded card!
