Some of the things that I see on the track these days defy belief. It’s more or less “Anything goes” - and it won’t be long before the sport itself has gone forever.. I’m lucky - I have many memories of when it really was something special.. |

Racing late again today at Oxford. Happening too often at various meetings. Very poor.
Happens too often to excuse - although in poor winter weather some delays can be excused but surely not for the number of times we see it at this time of year. |

Between them this evening Crayford and Doncaster’s meeting have 22 races.
Just ONE race out of the 22 has 6 runners!! |

Apologies, I forgot to mention the 10 race card from Central Park that also fails to contain one 6-dog event.
So that’s one 6 dog contest out of 33 races! Will the last person out please turn the lights off….. |
