some meetings used to up until very recently show a freeze frame on the line so you could see if ur doggie had won or not but seems to have stopped. eg Monmore always did this but not anymore it seems....why ffs??
For ages these bozos on rpgtv went on and on about having a clock in the middle of the track as the progressive step. Why? Of what interest is that to anyone other than in the formline next time out?! What is really needed is people with vison ( no pun intended ). I mean VAR is there for the taking. The technology I am sure could be adapted to suit greyhound racing. It would provide an accurate if virtual line across every winning line and could be adapted to have the bonus of giving an almost instantaneous result. Why is nobody looking into that as a possibility? What a boon that would be to the punter, and everyone else connected. Bet in Australia and sometimes the speed with which results are published, and, particularly, your trades/bets are settled, is astonishing.

There is no consistency in greyhound racing. It’s treated as the sport of pikeys and clearly regulated the same way.
Some tracks u get no clarity to the photo still and that’s because they most probably have no camera on the other side, so the nearest the camera is the one they give it to. The latest at Romford no still shown, 1 backed of the boards got it in the photo, yet the 3 looked like it got back up. No freeze frame though!
Inconsistency just leads to us believing those in the stewards room are in the pocket of the corrupt because the inconsistency of greyhound race has so many grey areas
