who was the dog?
By:
Crayford worst - owned by Ladbrokes - what do you expect - complete Lottery - poor dogs crash at first bend in fairly arbitrary way constantly - to be avoided - just don't bet there
By:
Winja could help here, In my opinion Crayford graded is now a complete and utter joke, would rather have a West Ham tatoo on my head than have a bet there
By:
i bet there and only there and i am sure there are others who have crayford as one of their premium punting tracks and like me continue to do so......i do not agree with the opening post or the synopsis put forward by shoodacoodadidnt......there have been dogs i have backed who have put in shockers but as a seasoned gambler i wipe my mouth and take them in my stride......everyone is entitled to their opinion but for mine crayford is no worse than any other track on the circuit.....
By:
Have to agree with Winja (breaking habit) , if you do the work you will get the rewards there.
There are habitual things that have been going on there for years and are profitable. Most betting is based upon greyhounds previous performances (unless its a debut , returning fron injury etc). At Crayford the profit is in understanding the Racing Manager , in both the manipulation of the trap draws and the manipulation of the track on any given meeting. The Racing Manager is just as much a creature of habit. |

Romford owned by same company btw
By:
Fav in first, you have to laugh
By:
i was a layer deptford.....
By:
Well done mate, a very poor race but surely should have shown something
By:
looks like a dog without a trip....prone to a missed break and looks out of sorts so was happy to take it on at a short price...it also looks like the type of dog that struggles to overtake....also tom has the cough in the kennel withdrawing the dog from the final last night.....
By:
That fav looked like a dog with a pie
By:
cheating davidson at it again.. how has that kennel still got a licence...
By:
Beat a distance last race never got a touch, rancid
By:
are these trainers just useless or is something more sinister at play..? You could not have bet that in a million years how it ran last up
By:
dont know why four was so short...crd 1st never in race after that.
if you dont know the dogs or the form you aee only passing comment because the fav came last.... |
By:
Erm, no, irrespective of if you know the dogs or not, first 2 favs not off and ran poor
By:
should four have been fav in the first?
By:
Sorry, not the H race
By:
And the fact that last winner from last race to this was a mystifing improvement
By:
Franco Dotty should have samples taken as it cannot run like that 7 days apart. Trainer should be asked to try and explain the run, but due to shortage of dogs etc they are given full licence to cheat their way through their contracts to top up the wages
By:
i could not bet franco dotty on its last run,,,,,,thought it was very poor
By:
If you were a casual punter and went tonight you would be scratching your head
By:
Starship, the point being a trainer should not be licenced with such wild variation on how dogs are running. It shows the sport for how amateur it is that these individuals are being paid by owners to "train" their dogs, but are actually doing nothing of the sort.
By:
i did not have a bet in the race but dotty was returning after a long lay off and was fairly heavy so improvement should not be that surprising especially when breaking in front in a split slower than a recent trial....
By:
Impossible to try justify the difference in its last two runs, trainers should be fined everytime a dog loses/finds a certain amount of time between runs when not touched, would soon stop the cheating.
By:
Most of your remarks are comical, and the Arkady topic had me in tears of laughter
By:
Well the guy was wrong about Arkady - that doesn't make him wrong about cheating at Crayford - I'm sure Ladbrokes are delighted with the randomness
By:
you see franco dotty win.
you see the reply, a messy race, won in a slow time. to me that explains why dotty won. no gamble, no real improvement, nothing untoward |
By:
be4 betfair faves wouid open 5/2 move out to 4/1 and win a lot of races . not no more
By:
great card Saturday Morning Wonder how many will bother to go

By:
What a shower this place is.. no other track has issues catching a dog safely and getting the races concluded, again they fail.

I missed the 3.18 CRAY but seen it was hare stopped. Anyone able to advise how trap 3 Tammys Jane was going at the time hare stopped. Cheers
