Yes thats all well and good But some people survive better in the heat Just like some greyhounds do I am sure So why push an average temperature On all the greyhounds I would like to seethe researchbehind that 33 c figure

Currently 29C on the South coast there, must have been a marginal call to stage the meeting I would have thought. I think the sensible decision would have been to abandon it. If it were upto me I wouldn't race.

even though trainers are expected to have air conditioned vans......the decision is not purely on track temperature at time of racing....travelling should also be a consideration and since the government has issued an amber warning i agree slippy it should be off......
