By my calculations I think it’s just 78 days until it starts, so it’ll come around very soon

If you had to pick THREE now what would you go for?

One of the three has to be at least 100/1 now

Cheers

As of today’s date  my  3 all each way are:-

BUBBLY APACHE, a very fast dog, my only concern with him is yes he can beat the best over as far as 500 metres but I do think it’s very much as far as he wants to go and he might show fatigue towards the end of the competition, as of now 25/1 available

LAUTARO, he fluffed his lines the other day but he’s very good, just like last years winner he will have gained lots of track experience at the home of the competition.

DRAHBEG DANDY, he’s the “thinking a bit out of the box one”, very promising last year, has got good early for a four bend dog and he will stay the 500, picked up a bad injury before he reached 2 years of age, but he did a nice 16.39 at Perry Barr the other day, not too shabby for a dog that’s been off since last August and isn’t a sprinter, 200/1 available

All the best

I was into MAKE NOISE but even though any dog can have an off day when it went wrong last time out he didn’t put up a fight of any kind which put me off

I find it hard to even say it but as from November last year when I did actually go to Towcester for a social evening and a bit of a recce I vowed never to have a bet again at the track and that still stands and includes the Derby.

I get your point Slippy but if you're not there you're not supporting the track.  Having a bet, here or on the books, isn't supporting the track either.
We'd miss you.

BUBBLY APACHE is trialling exceptionally well

DRAHBEG DANDY ran very well in his first race for 7 months

LAUTARO, I’m beginning to fear that he may slightly be a bit of “a thinker?”

All the best

APACHE has a difficult draw in the Juvenile, 33/1 available in places for The Derby

DANDY ran very well again, looks to be understandably still short of match fitness, he has a nice touch of early;  175/1 and 150/1 available for The Derby.

LAUTARO I want to see how he goes when he next races

All the best

Like many on here, I used to love the build up to the first round of the derby. Became serious on the dogs during the early Wimbledon Derby’s. Sadly since it’s moved to Towcester I have zero interest in it. The nature of that track is just wrong but they won’t listen. A real pity as Kevin is doing all he can for the game. G/L to anyone brave enough to have a punt at the gaff though.

I agree totally, BOOTHBY is good for the sport, Towcester however is not good for the Derby (as it is)

I won’t though cut of my nose to spite my face and will still watch the competition, but I will keep any stakes  modest

LAUTARO flew round Perry Barr on Thursday night

But can he do it in races and on a regular basis not just once in a while?

Your right Fats wooody would have had 29 Selections up by now Was harmless and A good craic TBH

Lanza , long gone Think Wimbledon His last market , Ante post betting went with the Don

wasn't much action at Notts and a lot less at Towcester

Every a year bit seems to fall off m Eventually there will be very little Left  , 90 % of

Dogs now appear to be Running for bookmakers Profit ,The other saturday I think there was a Race

Every 3 minutes at one stage ,Unbelievable TBH  At least on Saturday there might be people at

The track , Midweek very few attending  .. Yet the Dogs are still being fired round  ,Whats

the Percentage of Trainer Owned at these bags meetings ? What is the Actual point in this Fodder

Racing other than bookmakers Profit ?
