hey doc, yep its just a general for them as right now its never been less accurate not even close.
what is a 100 rated run on bang level track (as we know rare as they are) is the question ? ratings are not for punters they are for breeders, buyers and people who haven't a clue to at least gain half a chance of what they are looking at. tues night 129 rating in a D3 sprint need to be a thing of the past ffs ![]() |

Ok so on a lovely level track prepared well 'bang normal allowance' (ive lost you already haven't i)
![]() ![]() what do you think of these sprint times as a rock solid 100 data rated run, please feel free to add on what you think might be too generous or harsh, thx Central Park 16.22 Crayford- Doncaster 16.93 Harlow 14.85 Henlow 16.49 Hove 16.29 Kinsley 16.05 Monmore 15.45 Newcastle 17.05 Nottingham 17.86 Pelaw 14.30 Perry Barr 16.12 Romford 13.47 Sheffield 16.12 Sunderland 15.90 Swindon 15.67 Towcester 15.77 Yarmouth 16.35 |

I don’t know about all the tracks but SHEFFIELD was hugely overrated at one time, probably still is but just a tad instead of miles out
Current tracks where I have no doubt whatsoever that the ratings are too high are CENTRAL PARK and CRAYFORD I do have my own numbers for track comparisons, for example I think the difference over the standard trip between Monmore & Perry Barr is about 2 lengths as in for me a 28.60 at Perry Barr is around a 28.45 run at Monmore (assuming that the dog runs both tracks equally well) Cross examining the going allowances is also obviously key, again just one example on St. Leger night at Perry Barr for me the track was a tad fast as opposed to the normal that was given. |

agree Shropshire Sheff was renowed as one of the first that went on the kind side, Central Park right now is on its own tho miles out
is it the poor surface combined with weak racing office, but reckon i could get 100 rating running round there myself ffs lol |

Also my personal opinion why is it so easy to get a 100+ over a sprint
czech in horse racing usually the best times on the card pro rata ie time relative to standard (usually per furlong but preferably per 100s of race time) are nearly always sprints & the worst are the long distance races in dogs especially the ratio of finishing speed to overall race speed will have a lot to do with that really good sprint dogs will run flat out for say 300m marathons its virtually impossible running that way |

best marathon bitch of modern times roxholme magic classic example...behind early, dominant from 2nd lap
scurlogue etc etc |

cheers mate we on it, 2 and 4 bends they updated as of oct 1st CP looked more realistic sunday
|
|
By:
ok good work
|
|
By:
we will see how accurate it all looks after a few weeks lol
|
|
By:
Even with accurate standard times, the calculated times of races will not be very accurate, as they are not very good at setting going allowances.
|

By:
Agree, but GD lot more realistic now and can keep tweaking
