3-4 runs a month is plenty 5-6 runs killing the sport dogs can’t recover

Dearie me I really don’t understand all this 3 to 4 runs is enough rubbish.
If a dog is sound and it does not say have recurring injury in which needs a week to recover, then 80% plus of greyhounds can easily run 6 times a month no problems.
Though the rule in which you can run bitches 6 weeks out of season is stupid and needs addressing as many are clearly not race fit.
Should have left the old 10 week rule or whatever it was.
