How are traps decided?

in graded racing, the racing manager decides the boxes
in open racing, its a random draw (allegedly ) albeit with seedings, guardings etc

With open races
Gbgb mostly do the draw allegedly at their head office
However its never live on any link
And asking for such is regarded as an indiscretion

It goes alongside

Cameras on winning lines
Timing clocks in the middle of the track
Etc etc

As wonders intimates. The norm is the track sends them in order bin recieved . 99% time gbgb send m bavk as recieved. Its a joke but thats way it is.

I may be wrong, and apologies if so, but the OP seems a little suspicious to me.  Apparently been a member over 12 years but "is new to greyhound racing" and managed 1 post in all that time?  I am not a prolific poster by any means but.......

Answers to the question could easily be misinterpreted from a welfare perspective so I would treat with caution.  If the OP really wants to find out more the google generally does the job.

i agree with you 28dogs...greyhound scene is infiltrated with antis creating fake stories..asking questions. reason I deleted my scene account is because it’s full of accounts like that speaking mongst themself.

I notice the OP has not returned to the post but maybe we have to wait another 12 years!
