**Calling Betfair** Greyhound Derby ante post bets gone missing

Done me for twenty quid on a withdrawal as well !

Yes that was their recommended fix, absolutely horrific company to deal with, no surprise as they're on conjunction with them cants from Clonskeagh...

I can honestly say punting is not worth the hassle anymore, we've all seen how the act and the videos of the most high profile bookie in greyhounds in Ireland and the hassle he had with them

Still not settled....now they claim the bets where unmatched, another lie from this horrid company as I put no bets up waiting to be matched, they where all put on when the price was up there and available...

I have the dates, times, bet ID's all now and also have proof they settled the bets last night at 23:09 when they should not have....

They then put them in status "error" but no bets put back in and no money returned.

I have Wedge, I'm on twatter with them, I've DM'd there support, I've sent then the screenshot of the bets as evidence and still nothing, sure what do you expect from the same company that wanted to pay Irish Derby ante post winning bets at SP, they're vermin, no wonder the likes of S. Kenny ceased ties with them a few years back

I must say betfair have been brilliant in dealing with this, NOT

They've finally admitted the bets where placed and matched, they've admitted somebody settled them incorrectly as losers as 23:09 on Friday evening, they then tried to fix that and have made a mess and all the bets and my money have totally disappeared...

They've still not fixed it and are now claiming a glitch, a glitch my ballacks, they hire gimps who don't know wtf they're doing...

Between this and them breaking their own rules on the US Presidential Election (to protect their own seed money) it's time to use the other available options out there..

I see another one of my post's criticizing Betfair (none existent) customer service has been removed. Never mind This will be my last post anyway, see how long this one lasts.

To Pushkin and anyone else that wants to listen, I'll say this. Betfair have got to a stage where they are totally uninterested in the satisfaction or otherwise of their customers. They feel that others have tried to copy their exchange model and have failed so are in that comfort zone of feeling they have a monopoly.

Like most things in life, people are not really interested until something affects them directly and I can tell you, if and when you have a cause to deal with these people you will understand to what a terribly low level they have reached.

I have just opened an account with B ETDAQ, I had a problem with the account process (it was my error), I contacted someone on their live chat and it took 5 minutes to sort. I typed, he replied instantly and the whole thing was sorted quickly and easily. None of this you type, they reply "ok give me 15 minutes to look into this"!!

This is not sour grapes, I'm just amazed they have operated like this for so long and not lost custom. I now have an exchange account at B ETDAQ and play I poker at BET356, so I'm only losing out in the lack of liquidity and available markets on the new exchange. This would change if more people followed my lead and made the jump to a company that deserves and actually values your custom.

As for my poker issue that still hasn't been sorted, I've passed it over to IBAS and will get my money eventually. For the sake of 16 quid, Betfair have lost all my exchange commission and poker rake for years to come. That's the sort of short sited business you are dealing with, leave them, join me over at purple and then see how quickly they change their tune.

Betfair are a terrible company that has grown too big to bother about their custom and deserve to get their comeuppance.

I've all the evidence screenshot now anyway, even their admission so you'd think they'd have it sorted? Well any other reputable company would but this shower

Comical mate , Best one I have had was I played a TC  non runner iin race in race automatically goes on to a SF 1st 2 name dogs , NOT HERE IT DONT Was foook all involved tbh after Emails and Live chats I just gave up ,the wall had a 6 inch dent in it

I can well imagine, it's hard to stay polite to those on the chat and on twatter but if they're forwarding it to the people they say they are (and I've no reason to doubt them) they're doing all they can....
It's the geniuses they hire as traders etc.... that are the problem, clueless cants who ain't got a clue what the fack they're doing

The problem is always the same as you are just talking to messengers. The actual people responsible for making decisions will never under any circumstances engage with the customer. To be fair this way of dealing with problems exists with most companies these days via their call centres.

it's not only on here they want to pull strokes they trying to tell someone i know the 2 horse bets he put on in a shop weds for the arc meeting sunday are being settled at sp because of nrs and you can't get thru on the phone to them or the shop as to send e.mails and they don't answer them

Still not fixed, still getting told rubbish off betfair, dog will be fav or near fav to win the comp now

So I bet the dog at 65, 60 and 55

He's now not far off fav in the last 24 and I've just been told they'll try and give me a goodwill gesture or refund my stakes...

This after being assured the bets where live and valid and it was only a display issue..

Send it to arbitration. Think you said youve screen shots of the bets. That's all the proof you need, i would imagine

Today I at 3.45pm I checked the settled bets on Derby Ante post market lay bets on all dogs who were knocked out yesterday had gone missing. I messaged help via twitter & originally was told the bets had all been voided or cancelled!! I insisted they look into it & at 5.37 they miraculously re-appeared & were settled correctly, it does not give u much confidence in them for sure.
On top of this I had couple small bets (all I could get) on Amka Rofe with PP @ 12s, they were settled at 9s, had to query it with them & they claimed as I wasn't entitled to best odds the bets had been correctly settled at SP. After another argument they finally went to traders & agreed it had been incorrectly settled. They don't apologise for trying to mug you off & don't seem to care about their customers, they need sorting out.
