I was watching the greyhounds on TV tonight and Ian Fortune was talking about what he thought were two nice dogs tonight unfortunately I missed what he said as I kept getting interrupted if it’s emmerdale or Corra you can here a pin drop in our house.Does any one recall the two dogs he was referring to,I thought he said the first one was called Peroni ,but I can’t find a dog with that name on the greyhound data site,the second hog I missed the name altogether,any one here or remember which dos he talked about cheers for any help given

PESTANA he was talking about among quite a few others that ran at Shelbourne on Saturday,also a lot of other races but I was not paying too much attention ,Infact the amount of time spent on the Irish races as to the races that were live was rediculous

Only bright spot on show imo in seven days of broadcasting. Gives u an insight into wots going on across the water. I av no interest wotsoever in cannon fodder racing if thats ur thing crack on. Game is totally fact this side o the water imo. ffs owners cant even go an c there dogs run here. U can at h.q wer i will be 4 nxt 10 wknds watching real dogs go round a proper dog track. Saturday maireads pearl redzer ardfert aayamsa royale all in same heat corn culchulainn. Ballydoyle valor pestana ballymac inspeed ballymac cooper oran don all in same heat easter cup saturday. There is no comparison to races like that here and u av sussex cup n regency hove. Yes there are fast dogs in those comps but u cant compare the competitive nature of irish racing.
Totally agree PH but there will be some who do have an interest or Dogs running at yarmouth they could give the races 2 minutes When the Hares running is a little imvho.
People cant all own great Dogs or purely focus on Top class racing . we would have nothing

Good luck mate. Apologies if u thought i was a bit of. I do av graded dogs myself. Just bought nother 2. I cant get excited watching them to be honest. I know it sounds terrible. I,m a greyhound snob i suppose. an i,m strictly council estate.

Yes irish. Need people like him. Goes over them then scans them n kate treats them. Invaluable imo.
