Westfour4,think you are wrong.
Things continually under review, and not closed now so should continue. Only essential staff at tracks, inc 1 bookmaker per meeting. Irish horse tracks continue to race, and even tracks in US that had closed, are now racing. |

Surely no reason whatsoever to close other than weird stuff like `do the right thing', `everthing else is shut'.
Its safe. The welfare of thousands of dogs, jobs of hundreds of staff and the game itself is in jeorpardy if the game closes for any extended period. It needs strong leadership and to remain unless there is Government intervention. |

Government didctating everything. Frown on socialising thats why theyve closed pubs tonight
Army on standby to stop people going out (key workers apart) to enforce lockdown |

Thursday Lockdown unless you are going to a supermarket. parks and playgrounds shut but you will be able to take a walk keeping that social distance
Greyhound racing will come to a halt on wed evening. |

Captain imo ur 100% correct. Implications now are mind boggling. Kennelhands in my day cash in hand imagine same these days. Trainers wont be able to pay staff with no income. Bookmaker tracks may also include money for kennel staff. Tracks who rely on bags money more likely go to wall. Imo this wont be a short term thing. This could go on for months. Welfare implications are huge.

I am rapidly heading towards a lockdown myself
Fake news everywhere, people contradicting each other No one social distancing in evidence here Lack of facemasks, gloves etc in hospitals Two things emerge ...... YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN And ,....... LOOK AFTER YOURSELF |
