she needs gone from lime lite. she as taken a few quid to do an advert on tv to promote retired greyhounds as ‘rescue dogs’ she is damming for the sport. love for her 2 tel me my 7 retired are rescues. get her gone she is an anti which behind a mask

Dont know wot was wrong with her face last night. It was tripping her. Couldn,t stand it after half an hour went on betfair n watched monmore. Defo a self promoter imo. She has seen things wen she,s done kennel visits n says nothing.

Agree with objections to the use of the word rescue,unfortunately it is GT(aka RGT) policy to do this.A few years ago when Ivor Stocker was the RGT head honcho i collared him at a track and raised my concerns regarding the misuse of the word rescue.His response was that it helps home dogs so they use it.He was not interested in how it reflects badly on the sport.

surely the definition is if hound is abandoned someone rescues said hound then its a rescue hound
recently due to the demise of my dear mother who over many many years has had my retired I had to pay 100 for his castration then a further 200 for someone to home him as I was not able to do so myself the hound is happy im happy and new owners of the biggest screw I have ever owned are wasn't rescued in my book just gone to a sofa he deserves word it right or people will gang |

Good man wedge. Thats the ball park figure. £300 we usually av them castrated or spayed as soon as retired then they go with donation. Kings lynn kate deals with. They take around 95% of hers. She also throws in towels muzzles if they ask she gives them it. They are nice people.

Jumped on the bandwagon when the RUN FOR THEIR LIVES program came out, saying Britain looked after greyhounds better than Ireland , would never run a dog in Ireland....did us a favour by all accounts

If anyone needs to get a grip it is you paintoftherails. I have never heard such nonsense arguing about whether a dog is rescued or not. What should concern you is the greyhounds that aren't taken care of at the end of their racing days and don't start lecturing me about what I believe in this game. I am as concerned as anyone about the welfare issue within greyhound racing but attacking this woman for her use of a particular word rather than another word is plainly ridiculous and does nothing to help the cause.

how can you call greyhounds rescue dogs. pay 2 to 3 grand for a greyhound gets looked after to its finished racing and then even taken home or found a home i dont called that rescued

Neither do I dr, but we need to talk about the dogs who aren't being taken care of after racing. Personally attacking this woman is not going to solve that problem. Bookmaking companies and the exchange should be made to pay a levy and people such as the OP would be better spending their time campaigning for that rather than writing unintelligible garbage on this forum.
