Not having a good day. Went to back Levante Beach at 25/1 with Fred, they cut it to 10/1. Went to back Pull The Trigger at 25/1 with Lads, they cut it to 16/1 as i was depositing. I'll give the ante post a miss i think. Not meant to be

No private and you know what will happen! Sod's Law that one of them wins. It's a decent comp though, looking forward to it. Roxholme Nidge trials on Weds as well in preparation for the Northern Flat

btw do you know where Graham Rankine is based? He's bringing 9 of the Jaguar's down for trials on Weds. He wouldnt be close enough to attach himself to the track would he

If i have time i might take trip down. I might be at patricks tho. Need to pay visit to the old place b4 it closes. I heard he gona make journey to help out give pups some experience.

Don't think Meadoway Star has trialled private, not one of the 2 reserves either.

Must be a fair old slog for him though. They've still not got the planners to put it before the council yet so lots of obstacles still in the way of the housing getting the go ahead. The problem is the track is in limbo with no investment. Joy Andrews finished on Saturday, she's been there over 30 years, working for her Dad Ray at first. She's off to Sheffield. Jill Llewellin also finished to move to Notts although she's going to bring 12 dogs every Sunday for the BAGS meetings. Think  an advert has gone in for trainers today. A guy from Donny coming who i don't know, Jason Irving I think and Rankine as well then.

If they can keep it going till such times the final decision is made it would be great. Loved the place.

Tree Top Jet is double the price of Droopys Reel but my idea of the most likely winner now

Might have made a fist of it against Salacres Punch Irish Derby night if not stranded on the ferry

Still, Geelo Brezza can do better so fingers crossed for him

Still a decent comp, so hopefully a top final. The 2 I tried to back ante post at 25/1 are still in there punching with every chance, Levante Beach & Pull The Trigger. I'll be firebombing Fred's head office if Levante beach wins. They admitted they cut it from 25/1 into 10/1 cos Lads came in at 6/1. They never laid a bean on it.

Julie was worried about being drawn in 1 last time with Tree Top Jet, think private alluded to it as well.Never looked in danger though. Seeded it rails as she said would never seed it middle again after his bad fall at Sunderland. Presumably she's happy with 3 in the semi, especially as 1 & 2 are drawn the wrong way around. Brezza missed it last time and then ran off at the bend which was surprising when he'd been round twice.  Agree he can do better.

Tree top perfect draw deepdale. Brezza is totally unreliable at start. U couldn,t av the rent money an the lecky bill money on him  with any degree of confidence.

You say about Brezza Private but sub 15secs Vue and 15.78 Sheff is shifting, so he is capable on his day

Seems the consensus of opinion is fastest heat winner Wall Garden was a fluke

Was 16/1 but clipped into 14s

Came out under the lids Woody. Whether it can repeat that time will tell. Was impressive on the night.

Got your 2 to the final Woody, well done. Fred's head office is safe cos both the 2 i tried to back got knocked out tonight so saved my dough.

Ta. Thought Brezza was going to get up, just failed

Shame about Hulk. 4th quickest, very nearly nabbed 2nd and a chance of 130/1 place in final

Although fast early, thought Droopys Reel couldn't quite hold his pitch and slightly squeezed on rails semis

Still prefer my 7/1 Brezza and 6/1 Tree Top

Dylan flew out last time (improved and peaked at right time) but still very nearly collared by Brezza

Should be a smashing decider

Great run by Droopys Reel to land The Scurry.Coolavanny Dylan trapped out and race looked his for the taking but DR showed some pace to get inside him and lead the way home.
