On the Golden Jacket itself, always thought Stardom over-rated, only won a weak semi but cant argue if you got 20/1. Not for me, though Think Towcester Story over-hyped too Happy with Hotspur and see lid-pinging Shotgun as the largest threat |

Overrated ?
Pmsfl did you bang your head getting out of bed this morning? She was a 25s shot so was hardly overrated by the bookmakers, must of been all the mug punters who overrated her and bet her and now those mugs are stuck with a bet on a bitch who is fav for the final and has yet to lose an 8 bend race (granted only ran 3). How anybody could think she is overrated is beyond me, she has been underestimated in the final market with how the draw has worked out. |

Woody stardom was full of potential. Was there for all to c. If u do the hard hours. Towcester story won on night of stars a €10,000 invitation race so he wasn,t over hyped had form in the book. Just because u think they are over hyped if they get beat dont come on here with i told u so. Remember theres people invested there hard earned n they dont want to hear it.

Blimey woody, you do come out with some pearlers. Over-rated? Won a weak semi. You muat have forgot the first round heat which could have been a final in itself that she won with ease with hotspur behind. Add to this that the world and his wife wanted to purchase her, knowing her potential. Another plum draw in the final. Over-rated? Crackpot.

Ladbrokes 7/1 stardom fastest sectional in final. Huge. Asked for £300 last night. Got £140. Mate went to try n get another £300 this morninng. 22 minutes later u can av 11/2 to a hundred quid. Just left it. Shows u how bad it is wer we are mate went in2 uncle freds this afternoon they bin told if me or mate go in offer them 2 points less if they dont like it tough. Betfair tough again. Maybe time to do summit else. Football.

It's a fantastic bet, the bookmakers have shown their ineptitude in pricing the market over and over again the last few years in English and Scottish derbies and it's been a money spinner, for what you can get on the market.

You might rate Stardom a brilliant bet at 7/1 for quickest split but I got it a 16/1 chance. If it's quicker than both Shotgun and Towcester, I'll show my back-side! Had matters own way semis and wasn't it still about 5 lengths slower crossing the line, wasn't it? Slowest semi winner too even though it led. Lay! |

I have never overrated her, read the thread ffs, I said if she fulfils her potential over the trip which was obvious to anybody with any clue about the sport she could be top class. She has won every race since moving to the UK and stepping up in trip (only 3 of them granted).
I also never mentioned whether she was a bet at 7s or not, I said the fastest sectional markets where a great bet but while we're at it 7s is big on the make up and thank fack you bet in buttons as you'd be sleeping in a cardboard box in Deansgate if you think she is a 16s poke in that market. Stardom led in the semi? Perhaps you should actually watch the race which you clearly have not, she walked out and got a miracle run around the opening bends and only took it up out of the 2nd bend. But sure g'wan I'll back her with ya them, what ya give me 300-100 monopoly money ? |
