greyhound racing & betting on greyhounds is all but finished sadly not long left now

Correct wonders. I,m doing bit ante post at moment for interest. I,m same as original poster
Tried to log in for sunderland finals couple wks  ago wouldn't, the let me. On phone for 2 hrs got nowhere emptied account. Cost me couple of grand on night. Tried to get on with the opposition. No joy there. Filled in application wouldn't, take security number. So they can all go get ****.

it won't get any better and from end of august the horse markets will drop

Why were you not able to login, private? and don't betfair still take phone bets?

it must be a year or more since me wonders and dr were exchanging views on betting and i was at the position where it was Betfair only for me......larger stakes for worse odds...(sometimes).....if i want to be on...….it looks like many others are heading towards the same position but things have not really altered for me so im not sure its finished.....just different.....and not for the better...….......im still able to have a bet....still staying the right side of being potless….but the betfair situation is getting proper fecked up with their none management of markets......i don't know whats happening there and they need to sort it out......

too many meetings not enough cash plus the late arriving of nrs from tracks don't help the markets

I got new phone sparrow. Changed password. It was fine for 3 or 4 days. The night I wanted to av decent bet on 1 spent half the night trying to log on and on phone to them. The don't give a fack. Can't be arsed all fack in about with wrong dogs in markets wen u want to play. Place is a joke.wen ur only a minority sport they don't bother. Look at world cup final weren't even kick of over 38 million matched. Hardly gona be arsed for couple of grand at bags meeting.

dogs are a great betting medium but only if the race replays are available to all, am i right in thinking there is no video archive for all uk races? with RP doing a few with too many gaps?

all betfair need is cricket and football take fortunes on them

private, if you managed to speak to them on the phone they should have taken your bets there and then at betfair SP.

I answered security questions sparrow. I asked them to log me on. Wouldn't, u need to get a new password. We will send u e mail blah blah. It arrived 48 hrs later.

I couldn't, go back to betting shop prices. I,d rather go to the Forth road bridge n chuck myself off.

Sounds like a really frustrating day private. I've often changed my password and not had a problem at all.

played at crayford this morning my acc is completly ****. it was like trying to catch flies.i was golng to the back end of the win market and ending up the front end of the lay market everytime.got marked acc you cant get a bet on.its bolloxs

The integrity of the game is now non existent.
Its the same in horse racing.
Went to galway after the plate on wednesday
All the older patrons agree the game is bent.
At the races ruby was accused of jumping off of one that a bookmaker friend owned.
Was told not to back more horses than ever before.
At the dogs the tractor was out on one race , off fortwo, back for two and so on
The influence of bookmakers has a direct negative linear relationship to the integrity of both sports.
It is killing both sports and needs greater government control

In  a so called sophisticated country two sports .....yes sports..... Have been infiltrated by big business , overtaken and raped by bookmakers.
Why dont the authorities clamp down on them.
Trainers, owners and punters need to re establish their foothold on these sports

When they are done racing and the profits dry up they will turn their attentions to another facet ofthe economy or another sport.... In this greedy quest for profit

things change case...…..it just happening quicker than we would like...…..but lets be honest......without bookmakers would we really just go racing to see dogs race each other......i have done that on occasion but would never go regularly if no betting......its all a consequence of weak leadership......they do not understand the value of the product.....just happy for the payments without any vision for the future........

I still do it on occasion winnable.  I would travel length n breadth of the country if it was a good race. Not to far but will attend Newcastle Thursday just to watch angel of the North.  Imo great race.
