Harold not going to get a soft lead this time. I'm a Vic fan and will be rooting for him, looking for him to chase Innocent then assert. Borna Account respected, too
By:
All Harold needs is a clear run on the rail, which Account will help him get by stepping out from T2. Once he's round second to Innocent nothing will back run him, imo. Sorry to say so but if Vic isn't last at the bend I'll be very surprised.
By:
Hope not, Loyal. Vic can pop out, has deceptive speed (got a 17.76 on his card at Notts) and capable of flying along the back straight. Happy siding with the Scottish Derby favourite, anyway
By:
17.76 solo or racing ?
By:
Big difference imo
By:
Solo (+10). Long time ago but seen him fly round Sheffield many, many times. Only doubt chance Towcester not totally suitable for him
By:
Seen it many times over years. People get carried away sometimes sprint trial times. Derby dogs and good dogs in a solo will do quick runs because there is no opposition an they av plenty room to run. Stick m in with a true sprinter n they will get there ass kicked. Druids johnno agnst ravage hove springs to mind. Just an example.

By:
I know, Private. Vic's best Sheffield form in competitive races puts him bang in the mix though. Trouble is, this aint Sheffield

Correct.

Truth matters I made it 6-4 poke
And I played at split odds too How the firms have it so big ****g mystery To me |

Whoops Jack is way too big @ 15/8, he isn't the most consistent and when their is a dog close on his inside approaching the corner he does totally chuck it but it's an unbelievable make up and with another good start he should be well clear at the corner and then he should be winning, I think Da Head Hunter will probably turn 2nd if coming away and on everything we know of the 2 of them he should not be back running Jack.
Thought Droopys Bonucci was too big @ 4s, the fall at the pick up in round 1 is a small worry but think he could have a nice make up here, follow Bubbly Turbo up who is well capable of going around and give Bonucci a lovely tow. Obviously if Magical Bale goes around he won't be back running him but I think Turbo can put it up to him to the corner and then the top could possibly be a wee bit of a nuisance. At the prices the bottom will do for me. Danzey Exception @ 6s, as I said on the other thread I think he comes away better when drawn middle or wider around here and if he can get one of his better starts I think he can go around, off one of his good starts he will clear the inside and I think he can hold Sporting Dave outside him as well, he cleared Tyrur Harold well to the corner on Trainers Championship night. If he goes around I'd be disappointed if he got beaten and think he is overpriced. |

Agree with Whoops. 4.78/1 Rising Brandy double
4.3/1 Farren/Bale double, too! ![]() |
By:
Two plays for tomorrow
Truth matters all sorts of prices taken Just thought if he starts like he did in first rd Trap 3 would suit with snails either side Been waiting since Sunday for the prices Farren Bonucci double |
By:
not looking good as i also think bonucci can run well.
![]() would be surprised if he came from behind bale but could be a dog to qualify the next couple of rounds. |
By:
Now I see why you were so offended with my not being able to split Bilnder and Farren fattie.
pf - I see your thing about Danzey and fully agree that to ignore any dog here with blue chip track form such as his is dangerous, especially one who has stuffed Hiya Butt here. True, they're not the greatest inside him and your insight might just be right. I still rate Sporting in this line up though. I've given up on Bonucci personally. He could get good draws and run deep but he is clumsy and round here you can't be. G/l with all bets. |

Heat 11 1 Bockos Alfie 2 Foxwood Boom 3 Honour Turbo 4 Alfies Prince (m) 5 Saleen Ash (w) 6 Roxholme Ray (w) This is one of these Janssens v Wallis meetings that we are seeing more and more of now as Janssens build up his operation. I think there is very keen rivalry between these two and Janssens is winning more and more of the encounters. Three speedsters, two stayers and Roxholme Ray. Should be good to watch. Heat 12 1 Cooneen Jack He put in a 5.20 sectional and ran a clever first bend to avoid trouble and get a rails run in his heat. I was surprised to find that this will be his first ever run out of T1 in the UK ( yet for some reason I had in mind as a railer ) so we have no idea how he’ll run down. But he is running well and can certainly lead on the inner and he stays ok, but fending off Will will be tough. 2 Westway O Neil Poor start and then trouble but ran on a bit though miles behind last time. Doesn’t look up to this but all the way from Scotland – gets 10 out of 10 for effort. 3 Crossfield Will Not f.a. and stepped in a lane from T4 but ran 1st bend well. Hmpd in running back straight recovered and showed lovely pace out middle to come inside last and run on to win. Looks a very good dog. 4 Greenwell Jean (m) V.s.a. and at sea around first two bends. Once she straightened up she showed pace and ran on really well out middle to wide. Other than the winner the opposition was weak though. Getting a similarly good run here will be tougher. 5 Trade Fudge (w) S.a and had a clear run all the way out wide and untroubled. Came inside last and ran on strongly to chase in Calico Brandy – ran away from him to the pick up. 6 Droopys Biker (w) Not f.a., held line down from T4 and bmpd out wide at 1st losing lots of ground. Looked out but showed huge guts to come strongly late on then get 4th. For an ante post favourite it was a ropey run however well he recovered. We have to make a decision – will Biker run much better tonight or not? I think he looks talented but very green and thus vulnerable at likely odds on. Trade Fudge himself swung out wide at the 1st bend in his heat so who knows what sort of passage Biker will get here. Up to now Jack and Will have run the track well whilst Biker hasn’t – not in a race anyway. Why should any of that necessarily change? If Biker shortens even more I’ll place lay and do a 1 and 3 rvrsd f/c if the odds are attractive. |

Rio coco 8/1 ew
Had it 8s in six dog race now 5 out This dog got unbelievable amount of room To race from 2-3 could easy hit each other on run up |
By:
Initial prices i had were 9/2 n 5/1 fattie. Which held no interest for me. Superb draw n if the real coco turns up he,s a runner for sure.

You where being kind ph
Zero interest in 6 dog race Now got whole towcester room rise 8/1 Huge |
By:
14/1 Bull Run Button (each-way). Similar rating to Bombers round Shawfield, should come on and no surprise if recapturing Juvenile form. Bluebird never became the dog i thought he was going to be. Had setbacks. Seems fine one race, then drops away in the next. May not run the bends as well as first round this time. Tricky draw but reckon Button only needs to beat one of this pair home for a payout
By:
I agree with Coco having loads of space but he did last time too, and kept a respectable distance. He should improve but matching these two is a big ask for me. And if he is the real deal I'm sure Danny will be delighted to get him through.
